Pools With A View
Well, I've had a couple people inquire how to create pools with windows... Whatdaya think? Should I create a tutorial?
'Apple' returns...
Due to the amount of people who have asked me to continue with Apple's story, I have edited and re submitted part three, and part four should be ready to submit in a few hours. Thanks for the encouragement and support guys! Sorry to scare you for those few hours! Time for lunchie! Kangaroo left over from last night's dinner (if you haven't tried Kanga, you should. It's delicious, mates!)

New picture on the retro sofa
I've almost completed the sofa, just the shadow meshes left but it's late here and I need to go to bed. I've done the variations though. Preview pic here:

Hope you like them, if not let me know what variations you like, what patterns you would like in the variations.
Until tomorrow

Thank you to Missy_Screeter
As most of you may not know. I have had troubles with uploading Sets since the new Sims3 came to TSR. Now I had struggled to upload many of my sets which ended up being uploaded as single items!
Not that many people would mind that much because I believe in my sets some colours are better then others. Having the choice of just one download then three was a bennifit to some, ofcourse the others who prefer the whole set in one download, I am truelly sorry!!
Now, I found I could upload make up in a set, but unfortunately I could not upload clothes, so My last submission, which I think you all shall really love. A Flora Bikini, Leaves and flowers that entwine around your sims female body!
Really Cool, lol
Anyway, Finally I got a reply from Missy_Screeter regarding my submission problem, they helped me through my predicament, and I was suprised with the alternate much easier way of submitting sets. Yay! I finally uploaded successfully my set, Now waiting approval. So time will tell whether the method they supplied had worked.
I will take the time now, to public Thank Missy_Screeter for their imput in helping me move forward in knowledge of TSR and submitting my creations.
Eeeehhhhh!! (I scream) I am so happy that I can finally start submitting - Missy_Screeter, I will keep you posted on whether or not They were approved, so cross fingers everyone! I cant wait to start creating again!
More Hairstyles
Again many people contact me via "comment" and "PM" about some hairstyle I use in my previews.
Usually when I download stuffs for Sims 3, I dedicate about an hour especially for this, I navigate from a link to another and I download lots of hairtyles and objects and I can't remember from where I got all of them, but I will post some that I remember:

Most of the hairstyles I use are from PeggyZone and from RoseSims2. Other hairstyles I tried to post them here,
and if I missed something, I'm sorry but I can't remember all sites from where I download.
Happy simming.
Cakao Bedroom

Hi everyone!
Update on my newest set, my first bedroom for TS3. So far I've only made the bed, I'll update with more pictures as I make more parts of the set!
So Many Questions!
So Many Questions!
The majority of the questions I am asked are about Sims 3.
Do I plan on converting my Sims 2 Victorian creations to Sims 3 packages? I really don’t know at this time, it may not be feasible to convert the files. I am not an expert on Sims 3, but one of the main problems (for me) is that Sims 3 requires two meshes, a low and high polygon model. The game uses the low-polygon model for distance viewing and a few other things. Real life keeps me very busy and I don’t have the time to create low-poly meshes for all of my older creations. I have created over 600 meshes!
Also, some of my Sims 2 creations need to be re-UV mapped to appear at their best in Sims 3. However, the main drawback is that attending college and family commitments limit the amount of free time I have to create for the game.
After five years of creating for Sims 2, I can just about create the “stuff” in my sleep, LOL! So, I will continue to submit Sims 2 creations to TSR, this is stuff I have already made and have not found time to publish. I have downloaded the latest version of TSR Workshop (Sims 3) and I cannot wait to give it a try! A few weeks ago, I was able to create a Sims 3 object and view it in game! Unfortunately, I have to stop and get to work on writing final exam papers for school. I have just about forgotten everything I learned and need to refresh my memory by reviewing a few tutorials. So, it may be a while before I submit Sims 3 stuff, but I am too addicted to creating for the Sims game to give it up now!
Question two is can I recolor your creations? For all of you artists who want to recolor my stuff. YES! You are allowed to recolor ALL of my creations, just be sure to follow the TSR site rules and create your own custom textures. It is always a pleasant surprise to see my creations recolored by another artist. It is not necessary, but it would be nice to receive credit for creating the mesh.
That’s all for Now! Happy Simming!

Alyssa's Story: where to next?
I am overawed by the wonderful comments I have been receiving on Alyssa's story. When I first started this story I hadn't planned for it to become this big or complex. I just started with Alyssa and saw where her life took her. The fact that she fell in love with a man with two almost adult children who then went on to have their own crazy lives was all part of the game. Even a lot of Holly's actions I didn't make up, I just followed where story progression took her - she really did marry Dave Ramsey, make him change his name to Zefryn, got pregnant, then moved in with Malcolm Landgraab, all without me having to lift a finger!
There are only two chapters and an epilogue to go which I have written and need only to take a few more screenies for. I will be posting these within the next week. I am also working on an uploadable version of the Zefryn's new house (which you will see in the next instalment) for you to use in your game if you would like to. I can't upload the lot I'm actually playing in because the front porch has a bad food smell that I simply can NOT get rid of for some reason. It is a carry over from the old house somehow and I have absolutely no explanation for it.
I will be sad to say goodbye to Alyssa and her amazing, crazy family, but I have at least four other stories running around my head that I am dying to tell, so keep an eye out for them shortly after we farewell the Zefryns. I just need to get my hands on World Adventures because it will open up a world (three worlds?) of possibilities for storytelling.
I just wanted to take this opportunity to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who reads my stories and downloads my creations. I have just this morning hit 25,000 downloads - which may not seem like a lot, but it's a big thrill for me.
Nov. 8th, French Country Kitchen Release!
French Country Kitchen set recolor is scheduled for publication on November 8, 2009. The set recolor was inspired by Jsf Designs ParkLane Panels--they're some of my favorite wall treatments. Check out Judi's ParkLane French they are beautiful!
The French Country Kitchen set features creamy off-white cabinetry with antique bronze knobs and handles, and dark wood countertops. I have also updated the Traditional Inspired Kitchen Fridge; the mesh’s appearance is improved. You may want to re-download the mesh, although it is not required. Several new meshes were created for the French Country Kitchen, they are: a skillet, stock pot, double ovens, plant stand with plant and a tabletop potted plant.
Take Care and Happy Simming,
Carolyn

Laundry Room Finished!
Well as you may have noticed, I finally finished my laundry room! It's set to release tomorrow, Thursday November 5th. I'm not done with it yet though, and I've started to work on a whole load of extra laundry room accessories, such as a plastic laundry basket, piles of folded clothes, messy heaps of clothes, drying racks, and more. If you have any requests or suggestions for the laundry room accessories set please let me know, but for now, enjoy the laundry room!
