EA Store stuff etc...

I know I should probably think less and build more but something I've been pondering lately is the use of EA store items in uploaded lots.  So far I have been inclined to keep the use of such items to a bare minimum but occasionally I'll build a lot in which some of those store items would enhance the look and feel of the building both inside and out.

I know that downloaders who don't own these items will just have the default game replacements instead but I'd like to know your thoughts on this.  Does a lot that uses a number of store items put you off downloading it?  Or come to that, the use of custom content in general? 

I know I've been steering clear of using custom patterns in my lots although that's more of a personal preference.  I enjoy the challenge of seeing how many different looks I get from the in game textures.  Anyway, if you have any thoughts on this I'd love to hear 'em!

Thou hath returned... along with new house designs and stories!!!

Greetings to one and all...

Yes, I have been away for some time now, moving house and studies does seem to steal precious time away from me to my dismay!

But I am back, with new house designs as well as new screenshots and stories to go along with them too. I had some wonderful feedback from my last story which was flattering and made me feel all warm and fuzzy!!

Keep an eye out for my newest story that will be up soon along with a few others to follow and new house designs of grandness for all your sims to live in whether it be in peace or catastrophe!

New meshes: Garden set Valencia

Finaly my first object set for Sims 3 is ready! It will be published on the september 23: The Garden Set Valencia. All meshes are recolorable, and have a high and low poly version, as well as shadow meshes. The special wood pattern is included in the object meshes. The flowers of the plant (Hosta) are also recolorable. Have fun with it!

Error with Benchwright Orchid

It has been pointed out to me that currently, my Benchwright Orchid will overwrite the original EA orchid vase. I am aware of this and will be releasing an updated version that is stand-alone soon. If you want the original EA orchide back in the mean time, simply deleting mine will allow the original to show up again

Reinstall - HELL

I had a total computer crash - hardware commiting suicide or what. Just dead. That's it. So came the torture part: reinstalling everything to the new machine. Well, after spending hours and hours with resetting all the stuff I was finally ready to play. (Or create.) But unfortunately, this new PC, which is actually a notebook wouldn't run it. First it started to run OK-ish, except some very strange bugs like not showing the textures. (The videocard is theoretically OK.) And after 3 times it just wouldn't start. I haven't played with the sims for 6 weeks now... Torture. All the projects suspended. Shit.

I'll be back in a week or 2!

I have some important exams coming.

So I won't be around for almost a month or more.

I also have school, so i won't be able to create that much stuff.

This lot is very special, it has a water fall running under the house itself, this was inspired by Frank Lloyds amazing building, falling water. You can check the lot, and get more info over at the link.
