The Sims 2 Homecrafter Plus

Hello Everyone

I have decided over the weekend, that i want to give something back to TSR and so i have decided that i am now going to create walls and flooring for our sims to enjoy.

I have just installed The Sims 2 Homecrafter Plus after AudreyMay has pointed me in the direction of the Tutorials. Thank you hun. I am now going to have to purchase a Paintshop Program so i can begin creating and share my creations with you all.

I am a bit nervous as this is the first time since playing the Sims and also being a member of TSR, that i am going to be something like this, so you all have to be gentle with my first creations lol.

Hopefully soon i will have my first creation submitted to TSR.

My mom said its a lil ungraceful and I agree, it needs more hella work since I've only been practicing for a total of about 8 hours, and that's not enough.

I tried again, and perfected it, will post that video some time later.

The Mansion

Hi

I've started work on a new mansion. This one is gonna be big. So far I have just finished building most of the structure and added windows and doors, as well as a swimming pool, and a few other odds and ends. This also has a small river/stream going through the front of the property, with a nice bridge going over it (please see two of my pictures to see what the bridge looks like during the day and night times). So far it's costing around 260,000. It still needs decorating and furnishing.

List of Rooms
- Grandstair case
- Three show off rooms, one gallery for art, one for your stones and metals, one for your fish. I will be adding a few to start you off
- Livingroom
- Kitchen
- Dinning Room
- Bathrroms around 18 bathrooms, some of those are half ones
- 6 normal bedrooms
- 1 Master Bedroom
- 1 Nursery
- Games Room - Chess, foosball etc
- Kids Playroom - all kiddy toys
- Study and Library
- Observatory - Balcony
- Barbaque - Balcony
- Relaxing area - Balcony (sunning yourself)
- Parents Private Balcony
- Ballroom, for birthday parties and Weddings. Will be set up ready for it all

As you can see, this is gonna be quiet the little project for me. I do enjoy them though. If you have any sugestions for rooms for another mansion I'd like to do, say so and I'll see about adding them.

Is Love Enough: Alyssa's Story

Unfortunately work of late has been a little manic and I haven't had time to create lots to share.  I have a few part-finished which hopefully will start appearing here soon.  Instead, I've been actually playing the game whenever I can snatch a spare hour or two.

Alyssa's story, which I submitted yesterday, came about because I decided to let my sims get a little bit of control back in their lives.  I'm such a control freak I usually have everything mapped out from birth to death and it can get a little boring. It's been a lot of fun to watch what Alyssa does, who she wants to talk to, and how she reacts to new challenges put in her path (with the occasionally suggestion from me).

I hope you enjoy her story as it unfolds.  I still don't know how it will end ... but I guess that is part of the fun!

Holy Simoly update

Hi there

For anyone who's interested - we've updated over at holy simoly! There's a cute Sims 3 Lot and new Sims 2 mesh... I won't say what it is, but if you like rustic stuff or our 'Mountain Retreat' items then run over there faster than you can say 'rustic staircase'. Oh... :)
