new here
Hey i'm new to the site. If you have any tips for me please feel free to tell me.
Another Sim made by hubby and I
Ok, so we took our Michael Scofield and we both tweeked him and messed with his features (why does that sound so rude in my head) And we have actually made him a little better, where he looks ok in game.
His clothes are different for a start, and his facial features are a little better. So if anyone wants him, I am going to upload Michael Scofield number 2 tomorrow. (hubby has the photos on his computer)
There is a house on its way (for Sims 3) and I am going to start my Twin Sims again. May be a little easier now I have some photos printed out, as they were all on laptop before.
New mini site design!
I finally got around to making a banner fit for the new TSR v7, late, I know :p
But it's up! What do you think? I'm pretty happy with the simplicity of it :)
Still here
I´m not gone or dissapeared or anything, I´m just really, really tired. I now have a funtional kitchen, it´s not done but it looks great. I also have new floors almost all over the house, all in all it´s a new home. 3 days in London did not help on my feets and ankles that was hurting from the 2 weeks of hard work, but it was great. Now I have sent my dog of on a date with cute male jack russell and hopefully it will end up with puppies in november. I am planning on getting back to doing some simming when I have packed out all my boxes.
Mette :)
System crash
Luck being what it is, my computer has crashed. Yep, entire system down... Looks like I'll be taking a forced hiatus while replacing my car and fixing my computer! Bear with me, all, and I shall hopefully be up and running soon! Thanks!
Aug. 16th, Chloe - Metro Living Collection
The Chloe Metro Living collection is a departure from my regular Victorian inspired sets. Chloe features contemporary trends in design, furniture with sloped arms, tufted back, and soft pastel colors. The inspiration for this set was a picture in a furniture sales catalog. Something about the picture spoke to me, LOL!
While I love creating Victorian and period furniture, I wanted to try something different. I hope you enjoy the Metro Living collection; it was great fun creating contemporary furnishings. The set is scheduled for publication on August 16th.
The Chloe sofa is the master file and the loveseat, armchair, end table, and coffee table are all linked to the master file. Soft pastel colors in cream, café noir, myst (grey), and sage (green), complement dark hardwood accent pieces. The set is all new meshes, except for the rug, and is base game compliant. Collection folder is included in the set download.
Let me know what you think about the Metro Living collection.
Take Care, Carolyn

More lots coming...
I've had a couple of other jobs to do lately, but more house lots are coming. I've challenged myself to create two lots a week at minimum this month so far for the month of August I've published 4 with one pending so I'm ahead of my own challenge.
I'm currently working on a country brick and wood siding cottage. I love the textured look of the combination. It looks small on the outside but it seems huge on the inside with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths. I've adding three levels to the back yard with a patio/bbq area attached to the house, the second has the hot tub, and the lower level has chess under the trees and a swimming pool. It will hopefully be ready for uploading by Tuesday if I quit tweaking it. :) I also will be putting a slide show together of thsi lot and adding it to the Showcase forum.
How about... STAIRS!!!

Some of the most difficult objects to access for modification in the game are modular stairs. Thanks again to the tools being developed by Inge and Peter Jones over at Simlogical, stairs are here!
Naturally, my versions lack any polish. But be thankful I didn't add any little blobs of bird poop to the rail posts either! I WAS very tempted......
And here's the real good news for downloaders! No more installation scripts! You can drop these stairs into your game and they work immediately - no fancy-schmancy stuff required.
Oh, and with all these windows and doors and stairs and terrain paints I'll be making, did I also mention I'll be making a fence or two? I just need one of those day jobs where I get paid for doing nothing at all, and then I could make heaps of this per week.
