Leaving TSR.

Hey everyone. So I've decided to leave TSR or at least stop submitting things.

As most of you know, I have thousands of problems with submitting things on my account. I basically can't submit a full story, meaning all of the chapters that go with it, without having several problems along the way. Barely anybody even reads the stories I write anymore and it's just not worth the hassle.

Also, I want a fresh start somewhere other than TSR. So, provided I do actually find a new place to submit things, I won't be giving out the site on TSR.

I love all of you guys who have become my friends through this site and wish the best to you guys. Feel free to email me at [email protected], but fair warning, I don't always answer.

TSR Food Challenge

I was all pufffed up over completing the TSR Intro Challenge with Sonny Day, so I thought I'd tackle Ann Chovie.  It was going fine, I sent her to college, she got great grades, applied herself well (ok, I applied herself well) but then I realised she got on really well with one of the other dormies.  So I thought "I wonder if they'll get on if I just get her to flirt a little.."

Now they are in love and I suspect that come graduation time, her heart is going to break, unless I work out a way to get him playable that doesn't mess up the challenge. I suspect moving her out to a house alone, and them moving him in (if he'll come) is the only way. I just hope it doesn't interfere with her studies too much.

Creation Updates! :)

I am here to let you all know that I am working on a bunch of cool new creations! I am planning on posting a story soon also! :) Please stay tuned to hear more about this. 

I hope to have a story up by this week, and creations up by next week. :)

An Eventful Day

After the man came and installed Sky + in mine and my partners room, and then having to wait a good 6 hours for the Sky + features to work. I decide to catch up on what my Sims have been doing.

First discovering Jess Davenports husband, Chris had died, I stop aging and started hoping for that handy opportunity that will bring poor Steve nearly back to life. As I had planned for them to have a son or daughter.

Jess's life as a widow, hasn't seemed to bother her at all, she spends day after day writing books, and is slowly becoming a well known author. I'm currently trying to find her a more splendid house to move into (any suggestions are welcome), after many failed attempts on building her a house, I am more a 1-3 bedroomed house maker. 

A slight mix of excitement and shock due to the news of the first Sims 3 EP, slightly disappointed on the theme (was hoping for something to include seasons) World Adventures hopefully will be a great pack. Be nice to have more objects and hair.

On the objects side of things, I am hoping new custom furniture and objects will be in production soon, as well as more custom hair (starting to get bored of the ones I have downloaded). I am no custom content designer or maker, but do appreciate those many people that spend their own time in designing and making CC, as well as just sharing it with us folks that wouldn't know where to start.

I better carry on the search for the perfect house for Jess, as she will need the room for her many books and paintings.

I will be back in a few days time, with an update on my life with the Sims 3 (and that partner of mine) =]

Computers! :/

Grrrr...computers are a wonderful but frustrating invention!! The video card has stopped working again...for the third time, which causes it to not show any picture on the screen when the computer is turned on. I've had to use the back-up video card for now but will have to get another replacement sent out. The last time this happened, they made us wipe everything, but I won't be doing that again. Took so much time to save everything, then install everything again, and it wasn't even necessary. Well, that's my rant for the day, haha :P I'm just glad I got Part 5 submitted before this happened :D

what am i doing..?

ok, i know i'm a newbie simmer...

so, let's get it out of our systems right now and laugh at me...   ...go ahead, i'll wait...

all done? good... now, let me explain: i've been a good girl and downloaded all my cc via sim2pack button and installed everything. but now i have all these little simmy-pack icons everywhere (and yes i'll admit, they are taking up alot of space on my drive)!

here's my stupid question: can i burn & back-up all my cc onto discs and get rid of those pesky sim2pack icons files??? (don't forget, i've already installed the cc) i think it will free up quite a bit of drive space for new content!  ;o)  haha

Hello to all, it is a great day today let me tell you why I think so

Today is my 35th Birthday! I was sad at first, but as the day went by I have had alot of my family that I have not heard from call me. I just new that no one would remember that it was my birthday. Any ways thanks to all my real and The Sims Resource family this had been a great day! I hope you all have a great day as well! LOL **Wanda** :o)
