DragonQueen's Lair

Hello everybody, especially DragonQueen!

I've started to build Dragon's Lair in my rebuilt Riverview. Well, even if it got classy, 40x40 lot was probably too small to put it into very mountain, but it's dungeon anyway, and will have more tree cover afterwards.

Here are some of my first screenshots. It's far from production state and totaly unfurnished/undecorated. But i want to get the opinion, especially from my inspiratoress..

Turning the tables!

Normally the way things go around here is that a few people make THINGS like walls & floors, clothing, things found in build or buy mode with in the game......and then tons of us gobble them up & enjoy them in our games.  Well I can't make anything like that; I don't know how to recolor anything let alone mesh stuff.  I have however been one of the throngs of people/players who downloaded & enjoyed those things that the artistic & talented few among us have created.  Well I'm not saying that I'm some super duper builder......BUT!  I would like to offer to anyone but especially those who have given up so many hrs of time they could have been playing with Sims to make stuff for us; I'd like to make for you for a change.  No I'm not offering this cuz I think I'm some special builder of lots or pets.  I'm just offering the only thing I can aside from my thanks.  And so if there are any arteests out there that have been wanting their pet made for Sims or a lot of some sort.......all you ever need do is ask.

At this moment I am working on a mans punky T-Shirt (I know, I don't usually make mens clothing...not sure why) I have a design of a house I want to try out and there are some meshes which I have downloaded from TSR, so looking to make some outfits from those.

Haven't worked on a lot today, as I have been sooo tired (my twins have been poorly and had me up most nights this week) But...I am looking to do some tomorrow and upload them by tomorrow night.

May be I should put up a poll, then I can ask you what Tops you love most. Girly, punk, goth, funny...... If anyone reading this would love to see more of a certain top for a certain age, gender PM me and I can see what I can do.

I am thinking of making more Sims for Sims 3, I would love to make famous people to be honest. It is a bit easier with this sliders mod that someone has brought out, but that means all the people who download the Sim will have to also download the mod..and you may not want to put something like that on your machine. Any thoughts on this, please leave a comment...or drop me a pm. :)

My New Sims 3 Clothes!

Hello all!

I am publishing my new sims 3 clothes tomorrow. 2 clothing sets, 1 one for women and 1 for men. I made these clothes using TSR workshop, which will soon be released! It's a very easy to use program and it's very functional too. It's a blast to be able to create again.

I am also working on an underwear set for women, and a hair set for men. So stay tuned!

My First Day Back On TSR

MY God!!!! I forgot about my TSR, Until i visited my Sims 2 profile and saw a comment about a few pieces of outfits that a certain simmer wanted someoe to make for them. And this is when I realized that I had not been on for a whole hot minute. Well today I uploaded a few ScreenShots and hope to be able to upload some of my New homes that I have created on the Sims2 and The Sims3. Well this is all for now. I will hope to blog about something more soon. 

Progress being made

I've finally got the Sunshine Bath walls and floors coming out tomorrow for you with a few extra versions.

Also the Golden East Bedroom set will be out soon as well.

I finally got my PCs to talk to each other so the transfer of data should proceed fairly quickly.

Now I just have to worry with installing all the applications.

Upcoming cosmetics UM Q Watershine Gloss

Finally after few stressing weeks I had time to create again. I made a set of 10 shiny glosses that match all skin types. I focused on a watershine effect and so i added a mix of my old textures on this (new) one.

Hope that you'll like this set as i do. Really proud in the end :)

Vintage Patterns

Patterns! You get very addictive with making patterns and it´s a bit hard sometimes to get inspired to make new combinations as there are so many creators here. You would think that it is simple but I have seen when I´ve been making one pattern that it has already been done and this means it´s better to start a new one. This happens now and then.

I found a website some time ago with Vintage wallpaper patterns from 1910-1980. Many pages with little pictures of the actual pattern close-up. But unfortunately many of them are hard to transfer into a pattern for the game as it´s too big or there are too many colors and to try and just get it together just makes it blurry or smudgy.

But some are very nice and usable. Here are 3 examples I have done. One is already published and the other 2 I have submitted.

I made 3 versions of the Delicate flower from 1920. On rough cloth, normal cloth and on leather.

I hope you will like these different textures. I think it looks great in the brown but you can of course create a style yourself. This I find is a great feature in Sims 3. For example here is a pattern I´m working on right now. I´m testing it in CAS

You can really get a different look with different colors combinations.

When I pick the colors for the pattern when it´s finished I usually use this site: Color Scheme Designer 3

 I will continue to make patterns from this site, I have a few in making right now.

I'am in the process of building my first lot for the sims 3. i stoped playing the sims 2 a few week's ago and i doubt i will be returning to it. i did play sims 3 when it first came out but my laptop broke and my pc had to be upgraded to be able to handle the sims 3 and it is good to be back playing and creating for the sims again. anyway i have a built a lot called pretty in pink ofr the sims 2 and have started to build it for the sims 3. my sims 2 version went down really well. so here is a sneak peek at my sims 3 version, bear in mind i still have to landscape this lot and add more to it outside. :)
