Concussion Update

I returned to the doctor yesterday, and was put on an Anti-Seizure medication. No, calm down, I'm not having seizures...not even partials. Let me explain.

The seizure medication is supposed to sedate me enough so that my brain can't process as much as it is currently, which, in turn, should help alleviate some of the intense headaches. I should be on the medication for about 4 to 6 weeks until the concussion is gone/healed/cured/whatever. Eventually, in about a week...I should be taking about three of these babies a day. If I am supposed to take them until the headaches are gone, how on Earth am I supposed to know if I'm completely doped up?

I was doing some dangerous internet researching, and discovered that all the side effects of the drug are exactly the symptoms I am having now. Disorientation, Anorexia, Headaches, etc.

Apparently, I've lost 3-4 pounds in 5 days. He asked me if I was eating, and honestly...I don't remember eating. I mean, a few times...yeah, I remember eating. I also remember it tasting absolutely dreadful. If you know anything about me, you know I don't turn away food.

He told me to eat 2 to 3 times a day regardless, and to drink plenty of water. Well, the only thing I drink is water...and if the food smells and tastes like it has been, there's no way I'm eating it. That's that. End of story. He said that my brain is not telling me I'm hungry, but it's giving me the hunger headaches.

I took my first dose of the seizure meds last night. I already hate them. They smell like vomit. I woke up this morning completely lost and confused. I could barely walk and then couldn't remember where any of my stuff was...even though it was in the same place it always is. I could barely brush my teeth. I was super dizzy most of the morning. I couldn't keep my eyes open or my head up for anything. I feel like I've been on a boat all day...rocking back and forth.

FAQ's

Where do you get your motivation? - Lots of places! TV, real homes I see, and houseplan websites. One second I wont even be thinking about designing a Sim home, then I'll see something that sparks the flame and I'll get to building!

Do you take requests? - I don't see why not...as long as it's reasonable, and you're able to give me as many photos as possible. Just send me a msg and keep in mind the limitations of building in Sims3.

How do you make your screenshots? - I designed a specific preset for my sims screenshots in Photoshop (CS4). I also add text. If you want to try PS, I believe they have demo's available to download and try. It's worth the $ though! 

What type of computer do you play Sims3 on? - I play Sims3 on either a HP Blackbird 002 or a Gateway FX laptop.

How do you make the attached garage? - I made a tutorial, and it is in the Build A Lot forum. Just search for "attached garage tutorial."

How long does it take you to build a home? - Usually 1-2 hours. The bigger ones take a smidge longer.

Why do you leave the bedrooms unfurnished? - I furnish and landscape the entire house...except for bedrooms because I don't know what sort of family you'll be moving into the house. By leaving the bedrooms unfurnished, you're able to customize them to fit your Sim family perfectly.

How often do you submit? - I try to get at least 2 homes per week submitted...but some weeks I am only able to submit 1.

Do you still make Sims2 homes? - Not really...but I do have many available to download!

A Million and One Roofs - new tutorial!

It's out!  A tutorial for having as many different roof heights as you like in one lot.  It's very, VERY easy - not a building cheat in sight and so will suit total beginners too.  The lot on the left has no less than 9 different roof slopes!

I really hope you find this tutorial both easy and useful.  If you don't, I will of course blame you - or a technical fault located somewhere between your seat and your keyboard...

Well, I'm finally getting around to playing with my little site here. I changed the color to purple although it's not showing. I've started a gallery, but that's not showing up either. I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong. I've never done a site within a site before so this has become a learning experience for me.

My dad died last saturday night.. and it was a shock for me.... he died with 47 years old... im really sorry if next weeks i dont submit anything and don't come to the site ..

Hmmmm...

I've just realised that a lot of my screenshots seem to be that hill/mountain in Riverview, don't know why...I must like the view! I'm sitting at my desk next to the window and wondering whether its going to rain or not...I live in England so it rains pretty much everyday, and its July, just before the Summer Holidays so its bound to rain at least 90% of the time...but I shouldn't gripe because if it didn't rain as much as it does it wouldn't be as beautiful and green as it is right now...

School just started this 13 and well, that means I won't have much time for my stories. But then, I could bend the rules a bit and write more chapters in advance...right? RIGHT. So I wrote three new ones and sketched this as the future cover of the next chapters.

I do hope TSR allows non-sims art as cover art though, it's still them ^^" only I drew them XD I actually tried to ink this but I ended up ruining it so I guess Photoshop's the only way to go ;_; it'll take a lot of time and energy from me, but I know it'll be worth it.
