Thank you!

I'd just like to say thank you to all who have downloaded my creations!  I have been playing Sims 1 for QUITE a while and loving it dearly!  I always wished I could "do" more with the game...  I didn't have a computer able to run Sims 2 until recently, and decided rather than play "catch up" with the expansions, I'd just wait for Sims 3.  It was worth the wait!  Finally being able to customize my own content and recreate the houses I've always loved has been so much fun!  (And yes, more than a little frustrating at times...)

I probably wold have never uploaded anything were it not for my family.  They finally convinced me that my little creations were worthy of sharing.  I'm still amazed over the amount of people who seem to agree!

My Terms of Service

Since I have had some of my Sims3 stuff stolen and placed on the Exchange, and I just had someone once again try to steal my Buffy the Vampire Slayer cast faces for Sims1, I guess it's time to remind folks of my Terms of Service for my Sims creations.

Sims1 Terms of Service

All of my Sims1 creations come with a Read Me text file that says...

"I work very hard to give you these creations, so don't try to take credit for my work. You cannot use any part or the whole of my work without permission from me. Do not distribute my work without my knowledge or consent. This item was made exclusively for The Sims Resource, and that is where it needs to stay."

If you want to use one of my creations on your site, ask me first. Do not just take it and upload it without my permission or without giving me credit for my hard work. I'm a nice person and usually agree, provided I am credited as the original artist. But I still deserve the common courtesy and respect of being asked to use my work. I sign all of my Sims1 heads and skins with "Sam". Do not remove my signature and try to claim my creations as your own.

A few days ago, I discovered a  new site that was stealing my Buffy faces, along with other Buffy related skins, objects, and houses from other Sims1 creators, and trying to claim them as her own. I contacted her hosting service and filed a copyright violation complaint. Two hours after filing the complaint, the site was shut down. The moral of the story is...Don't steal. If you want to use my creations, just ask. It's that simple. If I see anyone using my stuff without my permission, or trying to claim my work as their own, I will take action.

Sims3 Terms of Service

I place a "Do not re-upload without my permission" on all of my Sims3 creations. My Sims3 policy is the same as my Sims1 policy. If you want to use one of my creations, just ask. Once again, I am a nice person and tend to agree, as long as I am credited as the original artist. But do not make the assumption that I will agree and thus skip the step of asking for my permission. As the original artist, I deserve the courtesy and respect of knowing the who, what, why, where, when, and how's of what is to become of my work.

HELP ME PLEASE I'M HAVING TROUBLE WITH MY HOMES.

I tried to upload it,but it said OPPP Files not attached. Can any one tell me any tips on how to fix this or how to upload them? If any cares I do have MY Summer Home and My Mansion on The Sims 3. My name is the same on that site. I also have a few Sims that I made there also. I wish it was as easy to upload here as it is on The Sims 3. Well any way if any one has any tips for me on how to upload houses PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!THANKS SO MUCH!!!!!**WANDA**

Life according to me :)

Let´s just say that my life isn´t boring right now. My kitchen project has been delayed a couple of weeks due to problems delivering the worktop. Today a meet up with a beautiful young guy named Bob, who´s going to be the father of my dog´s puppies next time she is in heat (you can see her in my gallery). I´m also going to London with my sister and my nephew for couple of days and if that wasn´t enough I learned that I am going to be an aunt again in January. I hope I´m up to it ;).

As you could see already there are 3 new lots on the way. It's not a lot on it's own but a street. I call it the poor suburb of Riverview. It's actually 5 lot's but 2 out of 5 I can't upload here on TSR I don't know why. (suggestions are welcome) The are availible on www.thesims3.com I'm know as NewYorkUsa2 on the site. There you can Find 78 Old Victorian Road and 99 Old Victorian Road these are the lots missing on TSR. I will also upload a picture on how and where to place them in Riverview.

I put it in after I finisht the other 2 lots that are still remaining on the Street.

So 2 more underway but still under construction for now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm out for 2 weeks vacation - traveling with 50cc scooter around Finland and Äland arcipelago. Even if i will be online sometimes, i will not be able to play sims 3. Well, but i should get inspiration!

Dandywine College...any ideas?

Since over 1600 of you have downloaded my Dandywine College has anybody got any ideas they would like to share with me as to how you have decorated this place and what you would use it for? I'm somewhat bedazzled at this number since it was published 8 days ago particularly because it was not at all furnished. When I got 3 in the mail I just starting checking things out without any predetermined plan and about a week later this thing emreged that looked like a college campus.

You see I don't play the sims, yet I'm absolutely enthralled with building their houses. Ipso facto, I'm really in the dark as to how this building can functionally work in live mode. Is it a residence? Is it an apartment? Can you do apartments in 3? Is it a community lot?

It would be really great to hear back from at least a couple of users who have actually integrated Dandywine into game play.

Sims leaving but not arriving to the community lot

I have a strange technical problem and have no idea how to solve it. I have created a new community lot called The Fishtank. This is a restaurant with a lot of underwater feelings! I created it as usual and still my sims can't enter it. When the screen comes up their icons say "arrive" - normally this lasts until the taxi is there. But in this case the taxi wouldn't show up. Townies and other sims that live in the neighborhood are there, using the lot, having fun, but the family in question is uncontrollable. I have tried with other families, and it's all the same. I would hate to throw this lot away, I have worked so much on it!
