Simming for a Cure

Hello everyone!

I am so excited about the possible Diabetic fundraiser in which all Simmers can take part!

Originally the idea was to only have Lots up for auction (by Auction I mean 100 lots available for 1$ a piece.)

Now I think that a "Yard Sale" would be a great way to raise money for our cause!

Custom Clothes, Furniture, and Items could be compiled on a website for 1$ donations.

Would still love more ideas and more help.  I talked to Tug about using TSR as a launching point for this fundraiser, and she will pass it on to the powers that be.

Goodbye The Sims 2

I have said my final goodbyes to the Sims 2. :( I completely uninstalled every expansion and then the very first disc. I decided to copy the screenshots folder so if I want to reminisce on the good old days I can. I uploaded my last Sims 2 screenshot to my profile page too.

I've had so much fun with the Sims 2 and am thankful for the laughter and tears (not really tears but when the grim reaper comes along to take your sim away it's a bit sad) it has brought me over the years. If I had holidays I would spend a couple of days just simming away on my laptop. It is one of my favourite past times.

I remember when I first stumbled across TSR. I thought it was the best thing since sliced bread (and still do). I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw so many creations. All the artists have such amazing individual flair. I went on a crazy downloading spree thanks to them and my Sims had never lived so luxuriously. My download folder got so big and the game felt like it took forever to load up that I had to take some of the downloads out. Those were the days...... well I guess it will start all over again with the Sims 3.

Farewell the Sims 2, my memories of you will last forever xoxo :)

IE and Sims3Pack download fixed

The problem with Sims3Pack files being opened directly in the browser when using IE has been fixed.

I'm sorry.

There is something that jacket number 5 for the elderly person is different from the color of the image for the preview in the dress of me up-loaded this time.
I think that there is not yellow but a blue color dress.

Moreover, the image for the preview of the skirt set for the elderly person is also wrong.

I'm sorry really.

First Look at Sims 3

WOW! Sims 3 is amazing, isnt it? After waiting for over a year for the game, I came home on friday after school. only to fine my amazon pre order hadn't arrived! Infact - it hadn't even been dispatched! I couldn't even wait for another day to play The Sims 3 - so I cancelled the order and went out to the shops and bought it instead. I was up until the early hours of the morning that night playing!

At first, I found Create A Style incredibly overwhelming! I just couldn't belive what was possible with this stunning tool. I'm now able to make the fabric on the sofa and the armchair match... wow! The new ground paints are awedome - and im so looking forward to start building with the game - which I am starting to do! Look out for some more lots uploaded to TSR soon.

Another thing to mention - I hit 50,000 downloads this week! I just cant belive it! 50,000? Did I expect to even get 1000 - no! Im proud of myself for getting this far, and thankyou to everyone who downloads my creations! I literally could not have done it without you!

I'm also looking forward to the Sims 3 Home Design Competition here at TSR. As you all know - lots are my thing so I'll definately be competing. 1st prize here I come! LOL.

Thanks again to all my downloaders who helped me get to 50,000 downloads ;)

SIMS 3 and evi

I bought the game today and I played for some hours. I am a bit lost and not so thrilled as I was expected but I guess I have to give some time to it.  A little girl wearing my mini-sites colors was my very first sim named evi-kid. I had lots of fun having her running around the neighborhood! She is adorable and the graphics fine!

As you can see I spent some kudos on my page I decided to go for the colortheme's.

The reason for that was that The Netherlands have qualifed for the World Championship soccer/football/Fussbal/Futbol in South Africa in 2010. yeah we are the first ones to qualify for it. And because Orange is our nation color above the red,white & blue I took Orange. Now I'm going to save kudos for my personal banner I only have 213 kudos left so it's gonna take some time.

I'll get there with your help to so I'll take something nice when I've got enough kudos ofcourse.

Submissions Sims 2 into Sims 3

Hi guys

I hope that you''re having fun with the Sims 3 if you have it already.

I got a quistion at the moment I uploaded 9 lots the reviews are fantastic that I got. Thanks for that.

This wek I'm going to buy the Sims 3 to. I have to wait for a bigger memory bank at the moment.

Now the question are there any lots that I already created for the Sims 2 that you would like to see in the Sims 3.

Just let me know and I'll see what I can do as soon as I have the Sims 3.

I don't actually play The Sims very often - most of the time I'm too busy creating and only play almost accidentally in the process of testing items and taking screenshots. However, with the release of The Sims 3 fast approaching, I decided I really should spend some time playing The Sims 2. I only very recently installed Apartment Life and am in the process of exploring Belladonna Cove. While I was settling my Sim into her new apartment, winter arrived. I hadn't realised how much time Sims actually spend wearing outerwear during the winter and I quickly became frustrated with the very limited selection of outerwear that comes with the game. I started off by adding tights to the Glamour Life Stuff fur coats (something which had irritated me for a long time!), so that gave me a few extra items. Next, I remembered a Nightlife coat dress mesh I'd always liked - although I personally don't like the Maxis textures it comes with. I played around with the colours and added a turtle neck sweater and stockings to create a stylish set of outerwear.

As explained above, this set was made for my own personal use, but I decided to share it in case other people shared my frustration at the paucity of outerwear supplied with the game.The original mesh was for adults only but I've converted it to work for young adults too - even students deserve nice winter clothing! Look for the coats in the outerwear category. Nightlife is required in order for the coats to show up in your game - and also Seasons, as these items are categorised as outerwear.
