Trying not to be too distracted by all the Sims3 excitement, lol. Some may remember me wanting to make a Gargoyle and actually getting started on it. Then, the great computer crash of 2008 happened and I lost what I had done and just couldn't start over at the time. Well, I've started over now. And in fact am almost finished!

I want to make some accesories of course, matching fencing, maybe a roundy corner thingy... :D

As for Sims3, my copy of the game hasn't come in the mail yet but I haven't let that stop me getting started creating for it! I have 4 original gothic style patterns ready to go once the TSR tool is released, whoot!

I just checked out the new submissions aera for the sims 3.

I must say I like it already it's easier to use. It looks nicer aswell.

I can't wait to upload lots for the Sims 3. But like I sad before that takes time because I need a new PC first.  But When I do I also buy the Sims 3 and share my creations for it. Untill then I upload maybe a few lots for the sims 2. if there are still people for it to download it.

So if you want to see more Sims 2 lots or if you are just like me and don't have the Sims 3 yet let me know and I'll create some lots for you all. JUST LET ME KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!

Yay for Resurrection!

It may be late at night, but swear I'm not tired! I can't remember when I made this account, although I do know that it was for downloading mods only (most of which I don't use anymore after reformatting my computer). A lot of them got trashed because they weren't labled and I can't remember what they were for. That doesn't bother me too much though, I can always re-download if I want to. *yawns* Ok, maybe I'm a liitle bit tired. 

*blinks* Yaaaah I feel asleep ^^" not really unusual for me though, don't even realize how tired I am. Anyway, I've been playing The Sims for... geeze, I can't remember how long ago we got it. I think I was in middle school. Now I don't play the original Sims at all and instead focus on the Sims 2. I may try the Sims 3, but I'm going to wait until I have a better graphics card and stuff. I haven't updated my computer in years. Honestly it may be cheaper to buy a whole new one instead of upgrading. I'll have to calculate it some time...

Ever since the reformatting, I've been playing Pleasantview almost exclusively. I haven't even started Belladonna Cove. I don't think I moved saved sims all that well when I reinstalled the game cuz all of the tombstones were gone and there seems to be a problem with the dead staying married in the family tree for some reason. Prolly forgot a file or something ^^" Anyway, I've been playing Pleasantview on rotation as well as Veronaville. Strangetown is pretty much untouched except for my Terrano family in La Fiesta Tech.

As a warning, I may dissappear suddenly for some unknown reason. It happens all the time with forums as I get bored of it, distracted by life, or accidentially forget about it for a while. Oh, and if you haven't noticed, I used to RP a lot... well, to really a lot as I take too long to think up a story ^^" Most of my roleplaying experiance has been in third person. I like to emply what is going through the character's head, which makes it slightly mysterious. I'll probably experiment a bit with writing styles before I start a story here. I also plan for my Terrano family to be in at least the third generation and I'll probably move them to Plesantviiew.

Wooo, yay for long rants that no one's probably going to look at :D Go me.

The Sims 3 - Not a happy chappy :(

Okay, I got my sims 3 package yesterday. Now from all the big huge hype that surrounded the game I was expecting something much much better. There's cool new features for the game, walking around the neighbourhood being one of them, but there's more annoying little things than cool new features.

First of all, their faces don't look right. There was all this talk about how much easier it will be to customize your sim in CAS, it was really disappointing, it wasn't easier at all. I tried to make a good looking guy to start off a new legacy family, and I couldn't. It just wasn't possible. I spent ages changing everything but he always ended up looking like a girl.

The speeds for gameplay. In the sims 2 there's 3 speeds right, normal, faster and....fastest. But for the sims 3 there's 4 speeds, I thought that would be awsum! But the fourth speed for the sims 3 is as fast as the sims 2's number two speed. You spend ages!! just watching them sleep!!! It's literary over 5 minutes, you can't make the speed go any faster.

There's heaps of other little niggly things as well, oh also when you're walking around the neighbourhood, and you walk past shops and such. You'd assume you would go into stores with the sims, but you can't. You try to follow them in, and the building disappears.

I don't know if it's just me, but after all the excitement and waiting for MONTHS! to have a game that just didn't live up to all it's hype, it sucks. It's bye-bye back to the shop for my sims 3, and back to the lovely sims 2 for me! With all my pretty sims!

My garden and yard

So, I have been asked if my garden here at home looks anything like the garden and yards I create in my screenshots, the answer is no, but I do have a lovely one. My wonderful husband has been working on our yard and garden now for about 4 years, we live in a small apt complex, and we are very fortunate to have a small yard, and great area's for growing flowers mostly and some bushes! When we moved in, the grass was sparse, and the flower beds were very badly overgrown and full of weeds. Today I proudly present, my yard!

Wow 25,000+ downloads!

Wow that is so cool!  Thank you thank you thank you!  A big huge heartfelt thanks to each and every TSRian who has downloaded my items.  I know other creators have 10's or even 100's of thousands & even more........but this is quite the acomplishment for me.  I only make lots & pets so that 25,000+ I think is a bit harder to get to, I think more people download cc for their games than they do lots or pets. ;)  Wow I think my creativity bar just got a big boost.

Downloads

I can not believe this! I just accidently deleted ALL of my Sims 2 downloads. Everything is gone, custom paintings, packaged Sims, designer clothing, jewelry, hairstyles, Britney Spears outfits. No backup. I have no other choice,I am going to have to start over.

Sims 3 Submission System

We are currently working on a new submission system which is fully integrated in TSR v7. To start with, this system will only be used for Sims 3 submissions, but we will eventually move Sims 2 submission to this system as well.
