Waiting for The Sims 3

I've been waitng for it since november -08.

I tought that it was going to come 19 february (the day after my sims-playing cousin's birthday) ,
but...then the date was changed to 4 june and ea didn't even say "sorry, now that you have been waiting so long, you are
going to wait like four months more..."       crazy... 

But now it's finally 28 may - one week left and anyway I feel that I can't wait any longer. I know that I don't have very much
patience, but this is too much...

Seven days left...

Submissions: Color Warp in Lot Preview Images

I don't know what's gotten into the submission system, but it coughs and sputters every time I feed it a preview image. On some browsers it returns an image with a bright, icky green hue. On other browsers, it shows a negative color image. And sometimes it doesn't show at all.

I assure you that nothing is wrong with the colors in my lots. They are normal. Below is a comparison of the TSR preview image (left) and the original image (right).

NO MORE SCHOOL!!!!!

As those of you who know me well already know, I am kind of a workaholic.  lol!  So, as long as school is in session, school work, sports, and all other mandatory things come before TSR; Guess what though?  NOT ANYMORE!!!!!  I feel so relieved!  lol!  I have made it through my entire Junior year with straight A's...*me looking all smug and proud.*  lol!  Anyways, thank you all for always being there, and I hope that you have an amazing summer!

Having Trouble with Cleaning Up

Right now I'm having trouble with my sims story. I'm not sure what direction I won't to take with it.

So bare with me 4 is coming sometime.

I just found out that my girlfriend is going to make me wait six days until I can get Sims 3. Why? Cause my stupid birthday is on the 8th! Totally sucks. :( But I still love her. Even if she gets pleasure out of torturing me. I figure hell I had to wait this long, whats six more days? Six more days is hell! Oh well. I'll find something to do.

Real custom content for Sims 3 - huzzah!

I only learnt about this today too: the BRILLIANT news that we will be able to create custom meshes for Sims 3.  It came just in the nick of time; I had given up on Sims (done everything I wanted in Sims 2, and no chance of doing anything similar in Sims 3 - sort of spelt 'game over' for me).  But this is great, great news and I'm suddenly looking forward to Sims 3 rather than giving a bored yawn.

I know precious little about the details yet.  Meshing is just one aspect; I also want the flexibility to create my own textures as well - it's no good creating nasty old oil drums and then see them appear in 'pink fuschia' cotton print fabric in the game!  But, if the world will steer towards the ideal, Sims 3 in the Cyclonesue corner will be business as usual, or perhaps we should say vileness as usual. 

Can't wait!

Update on my sim story.. Love and Heartbreak pt. 7

Hey fellow sim2 lovers! I've been getting a few messages from readers asking if i intend to finish my story Love and Heartbreak, and for all those who asked or were curious i want to let you guys know that i am most definately working on and WILL finish the story, hopefully before the release of TS3 next week! I am currently finishing up part 7 and have the final chapter all planned out in my head, =0) i hope you guys will enjoy what i have planned for my dear simmies! Happy Simming to all! -Jari

Away for a few weeks

I am a first time *young* Grandma of a beautiful baby girl! I will be gone for a few weeks beginning May 30th to visit my daughter and her baby, which is clear across the USA from where I live. So, I just wanted to let you know that I have completed 4 homes, I will post pictures here.. but cannot get all of the preview pictures taken and posted before I leave.

I also plan to shop for a new computer while I'm gone so that I can get Sims3 as soon as possible and continue to create many more lots! So many wonderful things are happening here at TSR and I'm so happy to be a part of it!
