I have returned...hehehe!
Just a note to let you all know that real life cannot keep me from my personal addiction...building. ;) I am back now, but am busy getting ready for the Sims 3. YAY! I have every intention of continuing to build for the Sims 2 though, so don't count me out of that arena just yet. LOL! As proof, I do have 2 new beach lots in my upcoming bin just in time for the wonderful Sim Summer theme! I hope you like them, as I did try to have both choices...a traditional home and a more modern version. Choice is, after all, what CC is all about! Ok...back to reorganizing all my files. *Groan!*

Remember
I have submitted the final chapter to my story, Remember. I had a few problems trying to upload it yesterday, but hopefully I got it to work, lol.
Anyway, I have a idea for another story. I am going to get the sims 3 when it comes out so I may use it to make my next story, it just depends on how easy it is, and if I need any CC to make the pictures. I am hoping it is as fun and easy to use as the Sims 2. I guess only time will tell. I do know I will miss all the CC that I have now. ={ I am looking forward to seeing the new facial expressions the new sims will make. Anyway, Have fun simming.
The Latest...
I'm currently working full time for Tucson Unified School District in their science department. We provide quality Science education with Standard Based Curriculum. Right now, we serve 57,000 K-8 students with curriculum and materials and refurbishes, pick up and deliver 5,500 Science kits per rotation to 117+ K-5 & 6-8 schools.
Due to budget cuts, we are working with a staff of 8, including myself, who are responsible for all aspects of what we do at the center. It is very labor intensive and takes up most of my time. My weekends are used for recovery, and I have not bothered to look at any sort of Sims related object since September.
I'm still married. We managed to work things out. I'm still having trust issues, which may end up breaking all that we've worked hard for in the past few months.
My kids have been attending a public school, and though our adjustment period was rough, they learned to enjoy the experience.
... that's basically all that's happened in my life for the past 6 months. I honestly don't know if I'll ever get back to The Sims, and that is regrettable...
Fairy Dust Wishes
Life is often a Challenge,
combined with the good & the bad.
So, why does it more often,
appear that some are more sad?
To peer out in the darkness,
toward the sparkle in the sky.
Just to be able to sing and dance,
and watch the fairies flutter on by…
Embellishing upon those memoirs,
Of lily pads and jellied hands.
Thinkn’ about those endless days,
of bare feet in the sand!
Wind blowing through the field…
Blowing her hair into her face,
Willows swaying to and fro…
So many stars up out in space.
That soft and cushiony meadow,
laying back to gaze above.
So much thought and confusion,
thinkn’ about the one she’ll Love.
Or, is it just her a’ dreamn’,
of her future soon to be.
Why does she stare out into space,
wishn’ a wish that she might see.
So many Fairy Dust Wishes,
dazzling up in the sky!
I see their wingz a’ fluttering,
as I begin to sigh’.
I think about those memories,
of sunny days and rain.
I wish upon that star out there,
that I might not go insane!
So many dreams of the future,
yet, memories linger to.
So, what do I make of this,
how do I see it through?!
The fear I hold inside me,
keeps finding its way out.
All those Fairy Dust Wishes,
just make me want to SHOUT!!!

And here I am. After one year of being a TSR member I decided to submit my first lot. I can't wait when it appear on website. It isn't something special because I'm steel learning, but it's very important to me because it's the “first one”. Please hold your fingers crossed. I'm just starting a great adventure with TSR2 :)
What's wrong?
I had finished designing some houses that I intend to upload to TSR. Before that though, I came to know of the news on the breakdown here. I hoped and prayed that it would not affect my ability to submit some work that I am longing to share. However, to my dissapointment, the preview picture did not appear when I previewed my submission. :(
I don't know whether it's a deliberate occurrance or an error, but I hope someone could enlighten me on this or I hope that TSR will update on this matter ASAP. :)

I'm still planning to create Stoneyville lots, but this is the last map I will be publishing - unless of course I create another neighbourhood & make Map 21 flat! I still have loads I'd like to create.... like a Furniture Store, Country Club, High School, Sorority, Fraternity, Dean's House, Lighthouse etc... so who knows.
I have Sims 3 on order & I'm planning to create for Sims 3 as well. I'd love to keep Stoneyville going, so I'll just wait & see what it's like when it arrives & once we have the tools to share the lots.
