HELLO AGAIN!

I finally have some painting recolors made, and this time the art is made by me! ; ) I'll make some more and then they're ready, and this time the painting mesh isn't by Maxis, it's by Murano : ) I hope it doesn't matter... and I know that I have to make more houses!!! I guess I'm going to make one, based on the poll results. So if you want to have an effect on the next house, you should take my poll ; D

Inspiration

I get a lot of comments like: I wish I had your imagination or I wish I could build like you, so I decided to give up some of my secrets...The truth is I steal!!! or as we say in the design world - get inspired.

I use goggle a lot, especially the picture site. Do a search on modern house, Victorian Mansions or Urban apartments and you´ll get tons of hits. Real estate and Architects sites are also great for inspiration, because you get a lot of pictures of the whole house and the blueprints. I don´t often build from blueprints, as they not always translate well, but I look for details that I can use.

I also look at the world around me. I don´t know how many times I have realised that I was looking at a house and trying to figure out how I could do that in Sims. If I see something that I can use I´ll take a picture with my phone.

I definitely also get inspired by all the other great builders around the sims community . It´s always good to see how other people use the tools in sims.

Most of all when building it´s trial and error, believe me I´ve done and redone so many of my houses you would be amazed.

I hope you can use some of these tricks and feel free to get inspired!!

The Birth = My Birthday today

Hi Everyone

Its my Birthday today and im 27 years old. My zimmer frame is on order and should be arriving shortly :p

Hopefully the weather here in Manchester will perk up. Fingers crossed.

A Little New Sim Preview

I WON! I WON!!!

I was casually checking my email yesterday, not expecting to see anything particularly interesting--when I spotted "TSR Kudos...Winner" in the subject message!  My heart started beating fast and my hands were shaking so bad I could hardly click!!! Could it be possible....?  Yes!!!  It was really from Steve! And I had won the Sims3!!!!  You just canNOT imagine how completely thrilled to death I am!!! I have been out of work for 6 months and I am beginning to worry if I'll ever find another job again, much less worry about whether I'd be getting Sims 3! Before I opened that email I figured Sims 3 would be out for months, maybe even up to a YEAR before I could possibly think about getting it! But I have WON it!!!!!!! I am sooooo happy! Thank you, Steve!!! Thank you TSR!!! I  always LOVE TSR in the first place, but I am just bowled over by this!!! I never win anything!! *does happy dance and then gives Steve great big bear hug and big sloppy kiss on the cheek *  And thank you, everybody, for all your congratulations!!! *kisses and hugs, too*

A Million Kudos!

I reached another milestone. One million kudos! I can't believe it. I'm not sure what it means to me, but I am happy to have reached such a milestone.

No many Sims, so little time!

Submitted a few pics today and deleted my old ones.  Wow, it's been a long time since I've been able to participate in the community here.  Every spare minute I have belongs to my simmies lately.
