Mission Match Recolors

I have had a few requests for build items - doors, windows, fences, gates, etc. I will start working on them. I have done some but will add more including fences/gates. It may take a little while. I still have other requests, too, that I have not fulfilled yet. So, please be patient. Hopefully, I will get some good days and get some work done, LOL! Being permanently ill with no hope of recovery, just continued gradual deterioration, SUCKS! Trust Me!!

Thanks to all who continually support me by downloading and commenting on my recolors. I really appreciate it and it warms my heart daily. Thank you for that. Sorry for not replying to your comments, I am saving my computer time for recoloring. I do read them all, you guys are great.

I've won a contest on the official Dutch Sims 2 site!

I've won a contest on the official Dutch Sims 2 site! I had to say why I'm a big fan of the Sims, and so I did. And yes! I (and 3 others) have won! This means a lot to me, because I'm invited to the Sims 3 Fan Fest in Utrecht in Holland on May the 15th. I'll meat MJ Chun, which is one of the Sims 3 producers. She is going to demonstrate the Sims 3 so we can play it! I'll make a full blog about this soon on www.simsshine.com, so you guys know exactly what have happened up there!

I lost an entire hood

I lost Akemi's hood and I lost her. She was the only sim I didn't backup....I'm so upset...I'm trying very hard to remake her. but it's not the same thing....

Legacy?

So, I'm trying to start a legacy but I had no idea how hard it would be, I'm a very impatient person and this takes a lot of time. If anyone still watches me I'll post a blog about it or I'll put up screen shots if it works :D

Just wanted to let you know I got Sims2 again indeed! With all expansions. It's so much fun again!

Although I don't have much time for it... right now I can't really play and won't have time to create anything either of course, but I'm not in a hurry... I know I'll go on simming for years ;-)

I'm so happy I decided against Sims3 - I read many more news I didn't like at all. If they won't change the basic programming with an expansion pack (and that's a nearly impossible thing to do I guess) I won't play Sims3 at all - ever. I mean - the way I understand it is either the whole neighbourhood is aging - or nobody at all. So either you're missing lots of days in those families you don't play at that moment - or your sims will never age. Now that s***!! 

I'll just stay with Sims2 until Sims4 comes out ;-))

Stupid scratched disk......

Hello everyone. Just reporting here to share my troubles with my copy of the second disk of the Sims 2 base game. Unfortunately, when I went to reinstall my game, it had trouble with Disk 2 (who am I kidding? It's BEEN having trouble with this disk!). Since it has been giving me such a headache and has been hurting some objects in my game, I'm considering just waiting until the release of The Sims 3 to create and upload anything new here, since it's coming out in about three weeks anyway. This makes me sad, because I wanted to be able to actually play through generations JUST ONCE in the Sims 2, which I've never brought myself to do. Whenever the Sim representing myself dies, I get depressed and think of a new storyline, then just start myself and everyone else all over again, instead of playing the generation game. Sad! But that's going to be my new mission with the Sims 3 - play the game through and expand my town, and make more custom content in the process! So stay tuned for some custom content when the new game comes out and us creators have figured out the new nuances to building custom content with the new game. I'm also excited to hear how your own playing goes. Take care, everyone, and thanks for bearing with me!

Taking a Break

I've decided to take a break from creating for a while. Everything is getting just a little bit too much! I keep getting problems with taking snapshots in TS2, I cant get Any Game Starter to work... and many more things. I've decided to dedicate my time now to actually playing TS2, and planning for The Sims 3. I will be back to create when The Sims 3 comes out.

Neighbourhood Poll Results

Just letting everyone know the results from my neighbourhood poll. It seems that Pleasantview is the neighbourhood most played in. Bluewater Village came in second and Strangetown close in third. Belladonna Cove came in fourth, with Veronaville and Desiderata Valley equal fifth. Last but not least was Riverblossum Hills.

I'm not really surprised at Pleasantview being played in the most. After all it is a great town and is the first neighbourhood in the main menu in the game. Strangetown I have hardly ever played in, I think maybe the terrain has always put me off. I prefer the greener pastures like Bluewater Village, Riverblossum Hills and Belladonna Cove.

Mamma mia

Oh, long time no see.

Right now im watching Mamma Mia, i just love this movie. I want to be on that island. It seems so wonderful. I can't wait until August when we'r leaving for Greece.

This weekend iv played more ts2 than i usually do. But iv found out that i only like to make the families and build their home. And after that im starting a new family and build a new house... and so on
