Southern Living Series
So I think I am definitely getting the hang of uploading & submitting my lots, finally! I have to say that everyone here on TSR are very talented and I can't put into words how much everyone here has impacted the sims2~ in a very special way of course! I would like to give a shout out too TSR ARTISTS/submitters & especially Windkeeper, TC100 Tori, Murano, Shakeshaft Spaik and Studio k (absolutely enjoy all the downloads and can't get enough of them) So I am so excited about my new lots being submitted... don't know how long they are going to take... but wow I feel better already. My computer lot folders are not going to waste afterall. So please feel free to give me feedback... I am still learning and trying my hardest to respect all the artists creations I have used. I try to thank and comment everyday :) So happy simming everyone.
The "southern living" series consists of 6 medium homes built out of inspiration of homes I love! They are mostly unfurnished, but I try not to take advantage, meaning I could upload every lot with content, but the less I use in my uploads, the faster they get uploaded lol.
Have a great day! PLease remember I appreciate everyone here & enjoy TSR! THANKS!
Small Update
I figured since it wasn't my birthday anymore, I'd better change my blog post to reflect that! :D Anyway, should anyone care--I'm gonna work on a furniture recolor set--soon--though at the moment I am working on something non-sim-related, and it hasn't been going well as I had hoped, so..... Ya know, everything I try to do NEVER ends up going as well I hoped--and it isn't because I'm so hyper-critical of myself--its because I try to do stuff that is so far beyond my skill level in it. When I hit a brick wall I am so frustrated that I can't go any further-- its because I don't know what to do next to get any further-- and usually after spending hours trying to figure out what to do next and not getting anywhere, I am stressed as heck--and finally realize its time to give up. And then it just sits there in my mind, unfinished, nagging at me to try it again, maybe this time I will find the solution, but I resist, because I just dont wanna get stressed over it again. *sigh*
The Modern Neighbourhood - A Short History
I should clarify that:
a) This is my first blog entry, and I don't know what I'm doing.
b) I started building this "Super Modern" neighbourhood about three years ago, and it's already onto its fourth generation. In other words, my short history may be somewhat longwinded.

The 'hood is built on the yin-yang model, and for some reason the jpg got lost in translation so that when I scroll through my neighbourhood menu, all I get is the wireframe view. I find this strangely apt.
I decided to generate a neighbourhood with buildings modelled after actual innovative homes that I've seen in books or magazines. I've set the seasons to have two summers and no winter to mimic California, even though many of the houses are based on European designs.
And then I moved in some families: the Skyrockets, The Hipsters, and a single guy named Innocente Seed. Here is where trouble started. Sim trouble, that is.
The Skyrockets were a young couple of Space Superheroes, Jim and Glenda, retired and ready to start a family. They actually had two sets of twins without any cheats! As a couple they did an excellent job populating the neighbourhood. Their family of seven included Randy and Candy, Lucas and Leila, and finally Baby, who, due to an unfortunate accident with a television set, died and came back as a zombie.
The Hipsters were a young family of three - Tyson and Rita and Rita's orphaned teenaged sister Rhona. Rhona moved into her own place after University, but then got into trouble when she had a baby with her Frat-boy crush Castor Nova, and it turned out he was unable to move in with her and raise their baby Jean-Castor. Tyson and Rita had their own wonder-kid Coleville, and would have lived happily ever-after if Rita hadn't been swept off her swollen feet in old-age by their dashing neighbour, Hall-of-Famer Innocente Seed.
Innocente's intention was to populate the neighbourhood by wooing all the passing women and luring them to his love shack. Unfortunately it turned out that he was unable to get them pregnant. Instead he put an effort into his sports career, and left his vast fortune to his last love Rita.
Jim and Glenda got the seven grandchildren they wished for, but died before those dreams were realized. Most of them were the offspring of eldest robot-making son Randy (talented enough to create the lovely Alice, but failed as a business tycoon) and his cheerleading girlfriend Calista Ng. Candy also married a University heartthrob- Glen, but only had one kid, Angel. Candy was too busy looking after zombie-brother Baby (it was her fault, after all) and a Sasquatch she and Glen had picked up camping one summer. Her other twin set brother and sister turned out to be home-wreckers. Brother Lucas stole merchant extraordinaire Lisa Ramirez away from her husband chico, and they had a great kid named Louis. Sister Leila married late, a green-thumbed guy named Peter and they had another set of twins. Leila apparently hadn't finished sowing wild oats yet because she had a third child by a new sexy neighbour Inigo Montoya whom she named Mars. Her twin daughters Terra and Nova witnessed everything, became permanently scarred and never forgave their mother.
Inigo Montoya only moved into the neighbourhood as it seemed bereft of anyone not named Skyrocket. This plight continues despite the introduction of the Champlains (Duke, his teenaged kids Amelie and Rene, and Grand-mere), the Izakos, and occassional strangers popping by. It has been a great lesson in genetics.
I have returned once again!
Ok Ok, I mentioned back in November I was back but ended up vanishing again. This time for sure I am back and hopefully for good this time. Upon my absence, I didn't have no computer to keep everyone updated on my where abouts. Since I now have a computer finally I can start getting back to my house building again with no interuptions and I can put aside the Sims 2 game on the XBox console. The Sims 2 on xbox is what I have been playing for about the past year and it was boring and dull to play. There were no two story homes nor much of any options to build a home. I disliked that you were limited to the items you were able to put into the home without a fire breaking out automatically. That's ok though, I had the Splinter Cell games to keep me occupied for while which were fun to play.
Hope everyone has a great day and see everyone around in the forums!

I finished the LV pack with 4 bags! I'm really happy about it :)
you can download all of them @ my site.... and one of them is uploaded here ;)

I AM CURRENTLY WORKING ON...
1. The final lot in my MINIMALIST series.
2. Finishing a small CASTLE called DORIATH GREAVES' CASTLE.
3. Thinking of possible MAXIS recolor sets.
4. Planning on doing a small MESH set (basically all decorative stuff).
5. Thinking of a new series (may be meshes, lots, or objects) to last until the release of THE SIMS 3.
THANKS TO ALL WHO LIKE MY SCREEN SHOOTS!!!!!
SO I JUST WANT TO TAKE THE TIME TO SAY THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT LIKES MY SCREEN SHOTS, IT ALWAYS NICE TO KNOW THAT PEOPLE DO LIKE WHAT YOU DO. SO AGAIN THANKS YOU AND I AM DOING SOMEMORE ALSO I PLAN ON UPLOADING SOME CREATION.
Submissions!
So, I have plenty of lots to upload... all are fabulous and I am trying my hardest to keep uploading them everyday. But why is it that when I go into submissions and put all the info in... the hour-glass stays spinning and my lot is usually not then uploaded. Does anyone have this problem. Should I really just upload lots that are unfurnished? Will that make the upload faster? I need some advice. Plus, does anyone use windows vista and have the same problems?
