Learned the Basics of Blender; Getting Started with Modern Series
Seeing as the modern series is going to be my first series, I intend to put a lot of work into it starting out with the most basic stuff. The most basic I'm thinking of would have to be a table. Here's the order I intend to release the models.
- Table
- Chairs
- Couch
- Counter
- Side Table
- The rest....
I didn't feel like listing the rest because you get the picture. Easy to hard. While I model, I'll be learning to use blender, so I'll advance while modeling. You'll be getting better objects once I completely learn how to use blender.
As far as anything else, I have nothing to say. Goodbye for now!

Lots of NEW stuff! LOL!
Well, I've had a busy week! Been building away, and have quite a variety of new lots to share with you...and a possible upcoming tutorial as well! YAY!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
KATHERINE'S COTTAGE
First on the docket, is Katherines Cottage! If you LOVE gardens, but hate having to worry about that ol' gardener, this might just be the home for you. :D Don't get me wrong! You'll still have to do SOME gardening. After all, there are 3 fruit trees, and a lovely hot house for growing those all important veggies. But the flowers and bushes do NOT require care!
As you can imagine, this means that some CC had to be included, and it never occured to Maxis that we may not like to have to constantly water flowers or prune bushes all day. So be sure if you want this lot that you follow the installation instructions so you get all the pretties for your new house! CC in house consists of only the flowers, 2 doors, and some ground paints. Furnishings, etc., are all Maxis!
EPs needed? Uni/NL/OFB/SEAS/BV
Available for download on the 25th!

MY DAISIROSE
For those who like a little something different, I have created this traditional home with a split level entry. That's right! Cool, huh? LOL! Anyway, it has lots of fun places to explore, and contains absolutely NO custom content. It is also Base Game, which means you don't need a single EP to play it. :) Aren't you proud of me?!
EPs needed? None! YAY!
Available for download on the 27th!

DESSERAI
So, you think I've gone all traditional on you, eh? Not likely! LOL! For those who are more into modern homes, you might want to take a look at this one! Only requires Uni/NL/OFB, contains absolutely NO custom content, and...wait for it...is a split entry home! YAY! Right. Anyway, this lot has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, so if you like to keep your families simple, you should be all set!
EPs needed? Uni/NL/OFB
Available for download on the 28th!

TUTORIAL and ANOTHER lot?!
Finally, I have just finished completing a new tutorial. What's it going to be about? Well...to be honest, until I have been given approval, I will just keep that to myself. You should know, though, that I owe a HUGE thanks to rose_maman for encouraging me to create it. So, if it DOES get approved, and you do get a chance to try it, I hope you'll stop by her guestbook and leave a nice "thank you" to her. Thanks Rosie!
Also, with that tutorial will come another lot! I want to wait to show it off until I am sure I will have the tutorial published though, so no sneak peeks until then. LOL!
See? Busy week! LOL! I hope you like the new lots, and really cannot thank you enough for taking a looksee. Hope you like them!
Love and hugs,
Illiana
Cotton Club
My Second Wedding Anniversary is rapidly approaching and I wanted to make something appropriate to mark the occasion. Last year, for my First Wedding Anniversary (the paper anniversary), I made a set of decorative books, using famous love stories as the theme: Love Stories. The Second Wedding Anniversary is traditionally associated with giving gifts made of cotton. I've been having lots of fun using the various items from Kitchen & Bath Interior Design Stuff (which is a surprisingly good stuff pack, by the way) in my game lately. I love the bathrobe meshes but was disappointed by the limited selection of colours. So for my Second Wedding Anniversary I decided to create some romantic His & Hers luxury cotton bathrobes using those meshes. There are two pairs of bathrobes: one pair in white and one pair in navy blue. The navy blue robes are worn over white underwear. I have not added this to the white robes. All four bathrobes come with very cute co-ordinating slippers.

Obviously you will need to have Kitchen & Bath Interior Design Stuff installed for the bathrobes to show up in your game. The bathrobes are available for adults and young adults and I have categorised them under sleepwear (tricky - they're not really sleepwear or underwear, are they?). I hope you and your Sims enjoy using them in your game.
My last exam
Hi,
First I would like to thank everybody who concratulated me with my exam. The one I had last wednesday went oke. I think I passed it but I will have to wait three week before my grade is published. At the moment I started studying for the next exam on may 18th. This time I am not going to wait till one week before the exam with studying, this time I really am going to do something. So most likely I will not be posting/publishing much in the next weeks, but you never know.

PS please take a look at my screenshots. I am very proud of my masion.

Computer Update Part 2
...well, well...after many angry phone calls and frustrations, I've managed to finally bring home the computer tonight. Apparently, the computer I'm wanting to buy is back ordered...and won't be out for two to three more weeks! So, I decided to get a 'returned-but-well-inspected' one with a 100% two year warranty. I figure my basis are covered there.
Well, I begin to install my game and my Sims 2 Base Game is too old and scratched up. PeaSea (my computer's random name) is too fancy to read a cruddy disc, so I headed out to purchase yet another game disc. Just last week I had to rebuy Mansions and Garden's...
I get to the store and you can't buy the base game by itself anymore, so I had to buy Double Delux which comes with Base Game, Nightlife, and Celebrations Stuff...just great! That's two games I already have that are in fine condition!
Either way, I have the fancy new computer and I'm installing all my games on it right now. At the same time, in the other room, I am pulling off my Sims 2 folder and putting it on an external hard drive to put it on PeaSea. With any luck and God's good grace, I hope to be playing by tomorrow! I am so anxious to see the graphics changes!
Hi Everyone!
I just wanted to let you know that for the Summer months I will only be posting creations from the beginning to the middle of the month. I now have a 'studio', and have been working on some craft projects, and want to really explore my other creative outlets. I had gotten so used to using the computer for everything that I forgot how wonderful it was to create by hand. Oh, I know that I use my hands to create on the computer, as well. But, the things that I'm doing really give me a different sense of pride. Thanks so much, have fun and have an AMAZING day!
"Download Junkie" Are you one?
OK so according to "Wikipedia" on-line dictionary an addiction is defined as:
The term "addiction" is used in many contexts to describe an obsession, compulsion, or excessive psychological dependence, such as: drug addiction, video game addiction, crime, money, alcoholism, work addiction, compulsive overeating, problem gambling, computer addiction, pornography addiction, etc.
OK so are you a "junkie"? Do you have trouble not downloading stuff for the Sims? I'm probably the guiltiest person of them all. I've got so many downloads that my game can't even read them all at once. How many is that you ask? Oh just 70,000 some odd files all together. No big right? Well it's kinda hard not to when there are such talented creators as we have here on TSR and other sites. I'm constantly jealous of my Sims. They've got a ton of things I wish I had. And of course there are a ton of other reasons why (no owie bars, motherlode, labor and delivery are done in minutes and they get their figures back........I'm so jealous) I'm jealous of the digitial people we call Sims. But back to the addiction thing......... I prowl the internet for goodies for my Sims/me to enjoy + anytime I can find something that would look nice in my story or make it better (I know I have not written in a while I just have not felt up to it.....too owie). So I have to juggle folders so that there is always a few Gigs off in a folder on my desktop, I've hardly got any room on my computer anymore, and it runs quite slow in general cuz it's so bogged down (did I mention the 19Gigs total of custom content on my computer? ), and so as you probably guessed it......my game is slower than malasis to load & lots take quite a while, and a family with a bunch of custom content & their memories take even longer. So I have this little argument with myself all the time "you have too much content as it is"........"Oh well. I love it! It'll look great in my game" "My Sim ______ needs this for their house" I think you get the picture and can guess which side wins. I can make some pretty nice homes using maxis.......but I can make some AWESOME homes using custom content. I wouldn't be able to make my stories seem as real had it not been for custom content. I wrote a story about a family who camped 24/7 all year long.......but I did it before Bon Voyage came out. I would not be able to write the story about Matt Wheeler who uses a wheelchair like I do if not for the talents of windkeeper to make the wheelchairs he has, & then tdyannd was nice enough to make a shower-chair to make my story even more like "real life". So I find myself having load of ideas as to what I want to do with the stuff I got and then rather than just being content to play with those things I surf the net because "you never know what you'll find". I just hope I don't kill my computer......it's the only one I've got & since I've got a limited income I don't have the money to buy a new one (it would have to be a laptop because I go back and forth from laying down in bed to being in the living room in my wheelchair). So am I the only "download junkie" or am I just the worst? But hey if there is anyone out there who is even worse than me & has even more than 70,000 files I'd love to know........so I can turn in my crown as "Download Diva". (I bought it as a personal forum title)
So, About That Lot...
Yeah, so basically, I submitted the Louis Lane lot 9 days ago, and it has yet to be published. :( I am actually begining to get rather irritated with TSR; I feel like they have forgotten me! LOL! I just withdrew my lot, and then re-submitted it, so, if by chance they did forget, they should have some new notification. :)
