How to download for KUDOS! Please HELP!
Hey everyone, I was hoping someone could help me out! I am always downloading from TSR, but my Download icon has stayed at "197" (see below). I would like to know which icon button on the download page will count towards my dowloads on my profile page. Can someone help me please! I would like to receive KUDOS! Thanks!

Beach Haven Update--
I have been out of commission since about Tuesday when a dreaded stomach bug struck my household and both of my grandkids (2 and 3 yrs) came down with it one after the other and then I came down with it! Yuck! and I do mean Yuck! Today is the first I have logged on in days so I have not been able to hunt for treasure chests or work on wrapping up both of my Beach Haven renditions for uploading. :-( Hopefully, I will be able to do so within the next week. Although I do know that 6,000 downloads really is not a lot (some individual downloads on TSR have well over 10,000 downloads!), it is my new record. :D I want to take the time to thank EVERY SINGLE PERSON who has ever downloaded one of my lots; you all have NO IDEA how much you mean to me. <3 :D Anyway, THANK YOU!!!!!

Pausing Clothes and Modern Furniture Series
I have just paused my newest series to first, work on some apartments and stuff because I just go the sims 2 apartment life, and 2, to learn how to use blender. I started by using SketchUp, but it had some export and import problems, so I'm going to be using blender instead.
I have just found this nifty video tutorial series for blender, so I'll be watching those for a while. Once I learn some of the basics about blender, I think I'll be starting with a simple table or something. SketchUp looked so user friendly... Oh well. It has some flaws. And I'm pretty sure I can do the exact same thing with blender. I might even be making some tutorials soon. Look out for them!

sims cheats!!!!!
- for my sims 2 double deluxe (i never used any expansion packs or any others) when you press ctrl + shift + c a cheat box should pop up when it does when you type motherlode you will get 50,000 cash every time you press it, so then your sims don't need an expensive job but you can build your house with everything you wanted (like a sports car,bowling alley, ect.).
- when you get a expensive telascope if your BOY sim goes out and looks though it pause it and type boolprop testing enabled true in the cheat box then press shift and click on your sim and it should say something about aleins (my friend told me about this so i don't know if it works) when then get abducted (if they do) when the boy sim comes back i think 8 hours later he will be preganent! he will actually end up having a alein baby.
- If your mom is pregnant and about to have the baby like looking weird press
shift + ctrl + c at the same time to get to the cheat box. then

I did it again!
I removed one of my favorite stories! Not on purpose, but I wanted to upload part three of the Coopers story. No luck there. i seem to have a problem with the wizard...or the wizard with me...I don't know...*teethgrinding* First I created a new story, but no pictures, then I accidently said "overwrite" guess what.....Cooper Livestock part two is GONE !!!! *sob sob*
I don't know what to do, reboot my computer? Or just wait and try uploading next coming days? * really crying now*
In case you were wondering
I haven't a clue if anyone ever reads my blog. Ha Ha Ha I have a couple of things to say. The first being, I love this place. You know it's funny...for the past 2 plus years I just sort of floated around, submitted when I could and talked with my friends here. Then the strangest thing happened. We were attacked, and then accused of attacking, and then I was accused of being a traitor...now that one hurt. :-( It got me to thinking, did I really belong here? Several good friends left for various reasons. I guess what I'm trying to say is, I am honestly not aware of any of the things people are saying about TSR to be true. I only know that I've never had any problems. No one has ever asked me to do anything or say anything or even hinted at me writing anything to support this place.
So, I took a good long look within myself. Then I took a good hard look around TSR. You know what I discovered? A lot of caring, supportive, giving, gifted, brave people that happen to share a common hobby. These are hard working very talented people who have asked for nothing in return...not even a thank you. Now that's dedication. I look around the Sims community as a whole and see much the same thing. We all obviously love the Sims or we would not be here.
I don't hold any ill feelings towards anyone. I like people...even those who don't care for me. That's ok, because if you met me in person, we'd have a good laugh together. I know this because I've never met an enemy. :-) I get along with almost everyone and you'll never hear anything negative coming from me towards anyone. In the words of Rodney King "Can't we all just get along"? Ha Ha Ha I remember when he said that after the horrible riots in LA and I must have laughed for 10 minutes. After all the serious things that had happened in Los Angeles, California...the world waited...you could hear a pin drop...then "he" spoke. "Can't we all just get along"? Huh? What? Ha Ha Ha Ha! It was brilliant in its simplicity and hilarious!
Well, Sims Community...Can't we all just get along? (((HUGS))) I'm here to stay. I quite like being an SA. It is an honor.
Oh, I almost forgot the second thing I wanted to say! I’m working on several sets. Unfortunately I scrapped two of those sets because I didn’t like the way they turned out. So…back to the drawing board for them. I should have two of the other sets up this week. In case anyone was wondering what's taking so long. Ha Ha Ha

So you're an FA...what does THAT mean?!
Since the new TSR version has gone live, it has become a little less obvious about what it is exactly that FAs are, and what they do. :) The BEST explanation I have ever read came from the magnificent Windkeeper on our TSR forums.
You should be aware that all FA items, (unless on a free rotation schedule or permanently set free), are for subscribers only. This means you must be a subscriber to the site before you are able to download these items. You can tell whether or not an item is an FA subscriber item by looking for the GOLD artist pallette, and the little gold KEY on the items title. If you do see a little golden key, it means that the item is a subscriber only item.
FAs are asked if they are willing to be subscriber only artists by the site itself. They do so for their own reasons, but my particular reasons were:
1) Because it is a REALLY great honor to be considered one of the top artists on the site!
2) Because I LOVE this site, and know that by allowing my lots to be subscriber only I am also enabling many other artists to NOT worry about the costs of uploading to a site, or worrying about uploading to the web in general.
I, and my fellow FAs, are in essence helping to ensure that thousands of other fabulous items are kept FREE for you to download. FAs encourage subscibers, which pay for the site fees/servers/professional staff/etc., which in turn allows most of the items on the site to remain free of charge! It is a very small price to pay to be sure that this wonderful site continues to be one of the best, friendliest, and most reliable sites for downloading content on the web. As a "thank you" to our subscribers, they get perks like no ads, full access to FA downloads whenever they want, etc. For a full listing on the benefits of subscribing, you should check THIS out.
Free Rotation Schedules
Some artists allow their items to be set up on a free rotation schedule. There are a certain amount of months before an item can be placed on this schedule, so you won't see new items up there for quite some time...and not all artists participate. It is their decision, and theirs alone. Asking for free items, or asking us to create items for free, is actually against the rules of the site. We're usually pretty patient about it, but asking too often can result in you getting your account closed down. That would be AWFUL! I sure would hate to see someone lose an account because they were asking around for free stuff. :( It's just better to be patient and either earn a kudos downloading spree day, get a subscription, or keep an eye on your favorite artists blogs for updates on their free schedule list if they have one.
About requests:
Now, about requests...there are LOTS of artists on the site that take requests. They do so for many reasons, their friends asked them to make them something, a favorite commentator on their items asked them, they are in collaboration with other artists, etc. NOT all artists take requests. Before making a request of an artist, you should find out if the artist actually takes requests. Some have notes on their personal info that say they don't/do take requests, some FAs tell you on their forum threads (usually in the first posts), and some in their blogs. Most don't really say, as it isn't something you think about until someone actually asks. So if you can't find any info on whether they do/don't, it is best to just post in their guestbook and ask if they take requests before listing that amazing idea you have for them. :)
As for me? I do not normally take requests, although I do like suggestions! It isn't because I don't think other people have terrific ideas...most DO! It is because I frequently have 4 - 8 ongoing projects I am working on at any given point. I simply don't have the time. :( There are rare occasions where I will find a request on the Lot Builders forum, or offer to do a request for a special occasion like I did for Valentines Day, but for the most part, I just can't do it. I hate having to tell people that I cannot, but I have to be realistic and know my limits. If I stretch myself too thin I am going to lose the fun of building...and I sure don't want to do that! LOL!
Anyhoo, I hope that has cleared up a few questions you may have about what we are, what we do, and why we do it. If you've read this far, thank you.
