Planning ahead

Well,I have finally decided what story to create next and its going to be about Alex much older now since my other story Life of Elisa he was just a litle tiny thing then.I'm not going to give it a lot but Alex moves out to  head to college,so you wont probably see his parents in his story. Ps: watch out for preview screenshots due to I will be sending a few pics for my screenshots of alex.Can hardly wait to get started on it soon.Peace n.n

My easter weekend

Well, easter has come and gone, we had a great one, except for the rain, but then I live in Washington, where it rains alot, so I guess it could be worse! LOL My best freind, who I consider my sister, came to visit for this weekend, she brought her daughter, and their two puppies with them, I met Connie when I was 11 and she was 10, some boys were picking on me on the playground one day, and she came up, and stopped them, earning her my everlasting freindship and love! I was a tiny scrawny kid, and she was a little big, so she knew what I was going through. We have been through so much, and are so close, that 35 years later, we consider each other sisters, her lovely daughter is my niece, and she is Godmother to my sons. I feel very fortunate to have her in my life, and to also have my wonderful husband, and son, and to have met so many wonderful and caring people here, so this easter, I had alot to be thankful for!!!!!

Today is my Birthday

And I'm 155 years old today, and I'm still spry and love to Sim! My Hubby took me out to lunch for seafood today (Blackened Shrimp and Scallops--my favorite) and my son brought home a new Harvest Moon game for me to play--Harvest Moon Island of Happiness. I can actually play that one as a GIRL instead of a guy for a change! My son also orderd the new Monoral CD for me, which should get here in a week or so--I love Monoral--they are a Japanese band that hardly anyone in the US has ever heard of. If you look them up on Wikipedia that will tell you who they are. Anyway, I have gotten a few Birthday wishes I didn't expect from a couple forums I haven't been to in months--and only about two people from the forums I have been to most the last few months have said Happy Birthday. (And I thank those sweet people very much) I guess that tells me who really loves me where forums are concerned, and I better start re-frequenting the forums who think of me though I haven't been there in months! Sometimes I feel good on my birthday, and sometimes I'm depressed--and this has kind of been a depressing birthday--but as they say--better over the hill than buried under it! Hope you guys have had a wonderful day, yourselves!

Prague waits B

 Oh well, finally some great news that I can share with you. :)
I'm going on a 3-day trip to Prague with my history faculty class on Friday and I bet it will be oh-so-super-awesome! Keywords gonna be knegli, Becherovka, slivovica... = instant assurance of cheerfulness, huh? :D

Of course, I won't be able to answer comments and guestbook entries in those days, my apologies.

Why me?

I can't publish Chapter 8 because my laptop has decided to take a hissy fit and blow up. I will try to publish it but I need the pics and I will try to find out what is wrong with my computer.

Building Country Cottages & Playing the sims!!!!! WHAT FUN!

I am so fascinated with building country home/cottages that I am started to think I need to do this for a living and get paid.  Well don't you need a degree for that?  I do enjoy the sims 2 so much that when I get home from my morning job I automatically put the game on and build as much as i can and try to upload them when I am done.  But its hard to do because I am now just getting the hang of uploading and submitting my creations.  I plan on someday to make custom content, but I enjoy all the TSR creators that I am just happy and thankful for the great creations they make!  So I am hoping to finish building homes!  I actually when to Lowes and bought a Home Plans book to help me out with my fascination of Country homes.  So maybe I can give one sim a good country home one day? 

Thanks goodness I found TSR! 

COMPUTER UPDATE

We managed to get the graphics card replaced in the desktop computer. We did this on Monday. Today, we hooked everything up...and still nothing. The monitor wasn't showing anything...and the CD drive spit out and in, and my Mansions & Gardens disc wasn't in it anymore. After a minor heart attack, we determined that the reason the CD drive was going in and out was because my M&G CD was jammed all kinds of wonky inside.

So, we hurry the computer back tonight. The guy who repaired it last night, didn't tell us there was a new place we were to plug the monitor into...thanks, dude. So, that was no big deal. However, the CD drive is a whole different story. He had to take the drive completely out and pull the M&G CD out...thus destroying the CD. But, now the disc drive is wonky, too. It skips really bad and needs replacing. Great...I headed to Wal-Mart and bought a brand new M&G Stuff Pack...

My computer...brand spankin' new...arrives to the store on Monday. I'm headed down that night to pick it up. When this new computer gets to my house, I'll begin to install all the EP's and SP's for Sims 2...and then start moving my programs and files over from the other desktop computer. So, hopefully...by this time next week, I'll be back to normal.
