Building Caves/True Sunken Basement

Hey everybody!  I've been gone for a little while.  Unfortunately, not too long ago, my computer crashed, and I lost everything.  Since then, I have had the chance to really work on my last set, which I hope to get back to work on soon.

However, I have come out with a new tutorial, which is at TheSims2.com.  This tutorial teaches you how to create true sunken basements without having the sloping ground around it.  In addition, using the technique presented in the tutorial, you can create houses built into caves.  Houses can really be under the ground!

Just a little ol' bitty update...

I went back to the specialist on Thursday for more ultrasounds, and as of right now...everything is clear and endometrioma free! That's enough to make me want a piece of cake with extra sprinkles to celebrate! :P

I went up to a big electronics store and found the computer of my dreams for a GREAT price, and also found a combatible graphics card for Lovey's parent's computer. If all goes smoothly, I'll get the new computer in the upcoming weeks and the graphics card and switch my files over, and start writing and submitting again. Something else to make me want cake with extra spinkles! :D

Today is also Day One of Lovey and I building our own house. :eek: Yeah, scary thought...the tree guys have been here for about 6 hours now clearing the land. I have a world of pictures and I'm just so darn excited. Hopefully, if all goes well...we'll be in our own house within the next year! All the more reason for that cake and extra sprinkles... ;)

Hooked on sportswear

Inspired by my creations, or my creations inspired by me? The last six months I've bought lots of sportswear for myself! I've also made plenty of sportswear for my simmies. I want them to have the pleasure of changing into a more relaxed style after a day at school or work. Anyhow, who wants to do sports in their regular clothes?!

Don't you just love the Sims 2?

This week our internet went down with the phone lines.. 

I couldn't go on msn or anything. I was truely not happy. Then I realised, Sims isn't run but internet.. So tada I found a solution to my boredom. Then I had to go shopping.. Gosh Shopping with mum, Tiering. We walked past the game store and Im like, Isnt that Sims 3? So I went in and ask the guy at the counter.. How much? He is like all nerdy, Zits everywhere.. He tells me.. Not out yet mate! ... What? Did he just call me mate , Lemme rewind * adds spit to it * OH HELL NO!

I wipe the spit off my face disgraced at who they let work in those kind of stores, I mean what about Cute people working there not Guys that have ZITS all over there face. I mean I do were glasses and all, But hello? Havent you ever heard of Dolce & Gabanna? Country Road Guys come on.. Who wouldnt want designer clothes. I don't mean to spoil the fun of all the poor people stealing our shit but I dont like it when everything of mine gets stolen from the shops..

We walked into this other store, And This old man comes up and says, Want to come with me little boy? I have candy!.. Im like First of all, Im not little and second of all. Sure I love Candy! He gets all cheery and I just walk off with mum to put the grocerys away in the car and go home.. When we get home I have to help packing away. I am busting to go play the sims already. Hurry mummy I dont have time! My sim is about to give birth >:( She finally lets me off and my Wife on the Sims gave birth to a Beautiful Baby boy who I name Christopher-James.

So lemme hope that my internet doesnt cut out again but if it does i'll be thankful I have the sims 2

to rely on!!

Mix & Match

While I was taking screenshots for my upcoming set 'Feeling Well Bedding' I couldn't find any matching walls or floors in my catalogue. It annoyed me because I always try to make my set overview images look nice and attractive.
So, during a sleepless night last night I made four walls and three floors per bedding in the set. That's a total of twentyfour walls and eighteen floors for you to mix and match!
I thought fortytwo files in one set would be a bit much so I've divided them up in six sets. Set 1 will correspond with bedding 1, Set 2 with bedding 2, etc. etc. I'll upload them later today.

I'm also planning on making a 'Feeling Well Bedding part two' with different colors and matching walls and floors, but I'll wait until the first set has been released.

Now I'm going to catch up on some sleep first!

Passed my exam

Hey,

some post ago I told you that I most likely failed my exam, well I passed it. I am so happy. At the moment I am studying hard for my next exam. I have been doing that for some time now, which as let to less new houses. As soon as my exam is over I will start designing again.

I hope the sims 3 will just a good as the sims 2 because I love this game. Can't wait till The Sims 3 get's out.

Well, spring has sprung. My Daffodils are in full bloom in time for Easter Sunday Holiday. As you all know, this is one of the clues for the TSR Competition - Hunting for eggs. whoops, I mean treasure chests here at TSR - in the Themes.
