Various fixes today

We have fixed a couple of issues today. One of them had to do with IE6 where download pages looked quite messy, as well as other pages throughout the site. We've also updated some of the missing archives on minisites and missing screenshots in your profiles. More to come :)

Another Download Milestone!

It's been only four days since I made my last blog post about downloads - 3000 on the 4th of april. Im so glad to say that today I reached 4000! This is another massive milestone for me - I hardly even expected any more than a few hundred at the beggining. Thankyou SOOOOO much to everyone who has downloaded one of my creations - i quite literally couldnt have done it without any of you! So how many downloads am I aiming for now... 5000... 10,000... 100,000? Who knows what lies ahead. I know that as long as I play sims, I will be here on the sims resource, uploading, downloading and everything in between. Again thankyou to everyone who has downloaded from me - and keep a lookout for more to come!

BLOG POST - In desfense of TSR

Just wanted to let you know I had another TSR hater make a comment on my In defense of TSR blog post so I have officially closed comments on that blog and am not allowing any on this one either.

I have said my piece on the whole thing and I dont want to hear about it any more - neither do I want any one leaving comments in my GB,blog posts or on my creations regarding that matter that are negative or against TSR. If you are not a friend to TSR then leave! Anyone who does post negative comments on my things or page in anyway will be reported to staff.. in order that they may be banned from the site.

Enuff said.

Please be patient with me...

As some of you may have noticed lately with my creations - i havent had as much coming out . Part of this is because Girls from Mars ( submissions manager) was away for two weeks so i had a tonne of creations sitting..sitting..sitting in Pending for most of the time ( well a few got published and quite a few got rejected - then i re-submitted only to get them rejected again etc etc) Now that Girls form mars is back I have 46 items coming out this week FINALLY! Basically 3 bedroom sets.. plus two bedding sets..

Another reason for the delay is also from the fact that i have moved onto more difficult meshes and it takes time to recolor these. Example: the past 48 hours I spent on two different Dining room meshes - one from Jope at Simply Styling ..another from OM at Avalon. Both are terrific meshes and my recolors would of been fantastic ( not trying to toot my own horn but i thought the colors and textures i used were brilliant) I wont be able to tell you if they really WERE fantastic as neither the meshes nor my recolors show in my game!!! ARRGH. Neither website said i needed any expansion for these specific meshes so i assumed they are base game friendly. I have no clue as to why they wont show in game... as the jope dining #6 I did have the table and sideboard show up but no chairs or anything else! So these have now become scrap and I know not to use these meshes again. All that time wasted.

So please be patient with me okay... i  have tried in the past to have something new come out at least every other day.. but life doesnt always go according to my will ..LOL

So starting tomorrow 2 sets will be out and then on Friday and I am getting busy today getting some new stuff created and submitted so that throughout the weekend stuff may be available. I also have a new house i need to submit. I have a totally full week work wise with everything crammed into two days now as Friday is Good Friday. Look for a SPECIAL easter blog posting from me this weekend too!

As for my blogs I want to spice them up and make them interesting so i am going to take a poll asking some questions on what people would like to read about from me. I am attempting to make my page interesting and will also be putting some albums up in my photo gallery!

Have a terrific Wednesday people- here in SW Ontario it SNOWED ( yes you read that correctly) the other day and its like january out there right now - which is a reall piss off!! it is supposed to melt and I hope soon as spring had already sprung ! But we always have to get that one last snow fall...of course right after i had packed most of my familys winter gear away!!Its very depressing to say the least!!

Current 'Beach Haven' Lot Creation in Progress...

I will be offering two versions of my upcoming 'Beach Haven' lot due to the eye-openig experience I had after following all of the steps in CycloneSue's TSR tutorial in regard to uploading clean lots for install (thank you CycloneSue!). I never realized how weird my lots would look if someone downloaded my lot creations with the Maxis 'Sims 2 Body Shop Package Installer' until I followed all of the steps in testing an install back into my game.
     Because the substitutions of Maxis items for the Custom Content (CC) I used were so out of place and defeinitely not Maxis items I would hace chosen I decided to submit two versions of my Beach Haven lot. One version will be all Maxis of my choosing and not random substitutions and the other version will be my original creation that will include my chosen CC from some of my favorite TSR creators. I also intend to not only credit the TSR artists but to also identify each CC item by name so simmers who are interested can easily finf the custom content for download. I am hoping the extra effort will make a more enjoyable download experience for those who choose to download my lots.
     Below are images of one of my favorite ares from my Beach Haven lot so you can have an idea of the variations in the two versions:

Ooops! (SFH Stove fixed)

Accidentally the SFH Stove wasn't properly recolorable. I'd like to ask you to reload it again if you wish to use recolors for this stove. My biggest thanks goes to Numenor who has rescued me out of misery (once again *blush*). I've set the stove free for four weeks. All free items for four weeks are:

• SFH Stove
• SFH Table
• SFH Chair
• SFH Woodbasket

You need to download them individually. Sorry for the inconvenience.

New uploads

The next days you will be allowed to download some new clutches and swimwear... but I have to stop creating for a few days, because I'm now really busy @ school and I need more time for real life xD
so, I'm going on a trip for a few days ;)

Treasure Chests

Well this is my first blog here... I was bored and decided to finally do something with my account.  I may even look at creating some cc. Have to get a decent photoshop program though.  Ive always loved cc but I've never tried to make my own! Any suggestions on where to start??

Well I found 9 of the 13 chests... Im giving up now! I wouldn't win anyways, cause I never win stuff!! Good luck to the others still looking!!

Oh, I HATE it when that happens! :D

I just spent half the day working on an outfit that I thought was coming along pretty good. Everytime I checked it in BodyShop it seemed to be looking okay. But we all know how lousy BodyShop is for previews! Well, I had to leave it for awhile, to bake a cake for my sons birthday and prepare a special dinner for the family.  So when I got back to it I was looking at it from every angle, trying to make sure it was coming along as good as I thought--when I realized the front of it was glaringly off-center! GRRR! All that work for nothing--I'm going to have to start over from the beginning!  And I wanted to get a preview screenshot including this dress. *sigh* I don't have the greatest eyesight--I use over-the-counter reading glasses-and while I should probably upgrade to 2.00 strength, I am still using my trusty 1.75s (because it is hard to find a pair of cheap reading glasses that fit well and have decent glass --if you know what I mean--some of them make things look warped and distorted, and clear glass is hard to find) Oh, well--and I can't do it tomorrow, because I have to take my M-I-L to the doctor again (she's gonna have surgery in a couple weeks) But I'll get back to it as soon as I can--I think its gonna be pretty--white with ruffles--I had a dress something like it when I was younger and I loved it.  Yes, sometimes I don't know when to shut up. :D
