FARx

This program is programmed to be an explorer-like FAR editor. It is fully built around the directory structure inside a FAR file, although technically there is no directory structure. Some complex algorithms have been built to make it working despite that. To add files, simply drag them to the window. To extract files or use other operations, you can right-click items or use the menu. FARx also plays XA files. You can do this by double-clicking the file in the list. If you try to open large files, you may need to wait a while. DirectSound is required for this. This program also has an IFF viewer (it views the OBJECTS inside the file, if any) and a BMP viewer. You can fix the colors (like TransPatcher2) and save changes without extracting! FARx should now correctly support the FAR files in The Sims Online! � by Tom Van Dijk
