File Archive Reader 2 (FAR-2) is the new version of File Archive Reader. It is fast, doesn't load the whole file when opened (which the previous version did) and it generates more appropriate error messages. It's been tested with ExpansionPack2.FAR (133 MB) and things worked well. The only thing that was removed from the previous version is the special rename function. In some occasions, it just can't be used, so doing it manually is lots better. � by Tom Van Dijk
