First official patch is on the way!

For those of us that have been able to play the game, the past couple of weeks have been great!� Unfortunately, this hasn't been the case for everybody.� Like most new games, this one has it's fair share of bugs... and it has been causing lots of headaches and frustration for quite a few sim fans.

Maxis has heard your cries (and screams) and they are working on a patch!� More information will be needed from those that are having problems though.� They need to recreate the problems on their end in order to figure out a way to fix them, so they will be putting an area up on their site sometime this week�so people can�post information.� Be on the lookout for that if you are having problems with the game.

Are there comming objects and wallpapers/floors to download for the sims2?

I have read that homecragter for the Sims2 will be released before Christmas, so that walls and floors can be made. Has anyone heard about this and whether this is true or not. Wish they would hurry up with the tool for making objects or an expansion. The furniture is limited. I can't make anything but I can download, lol. Any info would be appreciated. Video Granny.

Do we know when the patch will be released? Some of the gameplay problems are not "all the time", but usually at crucial moments--like after I have spent hours creating a new house or playing a family for a couple of hours and worked really hard to meet aspirations and increase skill! Hurry Maxis--I love your game!
