I HAVE A BIG QUESTION!! DOES ANYONE NO HOW TO DOWNLOAD CLOTHES FOR THE SIMS 2 GAME BECAUSE IT WONT SEEM TO WORK, NONE OF THE DOWNLOADS DO AND I HAVE BOUGHT A SUBSCRIPTION BUT WONT WORK! PLEASE HELP ME PLEASE

I, too hope the object editor comes out soon. I can't create, but I enjoy downloading things that people create. I think that one will come out, because sometimes it seems Maxis creates objects that can be easily made into something That wouldn't fit the ESRB rating if they made (ie the "bubble blower in the first Sims_ - what's up with the hydroponic plant, hmmm?
But I am glad Maxis is making TSU. When I visited forums before TS2 came out, ppl (myself included) were always talking about how they wanted to take their Sims to school, along with seeing them at work. This is fulfilling both those wants. It seems like Maxis is trying to fulfil everyone's desires, just maybe not in the order everyone would like.
BTW, if you read the interviews, there will be new objects. Didn't say anything about floors or walls, but with all the new community locations, there probably will be some, especially since every EP for the first Sims came with new floors and walls.

I just want to add my view on the lack of new floors, walls, etc. I have enjoyed the Sims 1 because of the ability to have a wide variety of objects to buy for my Sims as well as making them successful in their careers and love life. The Sims 2 is a great game, but it is fast losing its luster for me due to lack of variety in decorating. I hope, along with others, that Maxis listens to the gamers who have enjoyed Sims 1 and understand the importance of what we are saying.

I agree with just about everyone here--I bought all the expansions for sims 1 because of the new objects--and that's also why I subscriber here. The game gets dull pretty quick if everyone and everything looks the same. Let's hope someone from Maxis reads this stuff and gives us our freedom back.
