Open For Business expected in March

Happy New Year everyone! Hopefully you all had happy holidays and all that good stuff as well. December was a busy busy month for me and I wasn't able to do as much here as I would have liked, but things will probably settle down now that the holiday season is over and I will have more time to devote to all thing simmy ... like the news!

Our sims will be able to set up shop sometime in early March when Open For Business is released. The official release date hasn't been announced yet, but Amazon and EB Games have the shipping date listed as February 28th and Gamestop the 21st of March. Keep in mind that nothing is set in stone until EA announces it, so we won't know the exact date until then.

Like we saw with the last Expansion Pack, some stores are offering bonus content to those that prorder. You can get the exclusive mascot and life-sized sculpture when you preorder Open For Business from EB Games or Gamestop. It will work the same way that the Hot Rod download did before - you will receive an email with a code and you will have to enter it on a website to get your content.

And in other news, French sim fans can show everybody how much they love the game by sticking Sims 2 stamps on their outgoing mail! The stamps are part of a set which include other video game icons and can be bought from post offices in France or from the La Poste website.
