Miscellaneous Open for Business News

Well, now that the game is out and a lot of people have it, the amount of news has slowed down a bit, but here�s a few things that may be of interest to you all.

If you still aren�t convinced that you want to buy Open for Business, in addition to the game�s review at Gamespy, there are now also reviews at Yahoo Games, and 1UP.com.

If you do own the game but are still struggling with that business, there's a new six step guide for starting a business at the official site. You can read it here. In addition to that, a chat event will be held in which some members of the Open for Business team will share some tips and tricks, and answer your questions. It will occur on Thursday, March 16th at 3 PM Pacific time. That�s 4 PM Mountain Time, 5 PM Central Time, and 6 PM Eastern Standard Time. At that point, you can join the chat room at the official site by going over to this page.

If you can�t get enough of your Sims while playing the actual game, why not play the new mini-game at the official site? You�ll need the Macromedia Flash plugin in order to play the game. And, if you�re good at making stories and movies in the game, why not enter the new Open for Business commercial contest at the official site? You could win a new computer.

Hopefully, we will find out more about the Family Fun Pack soon, but until then, we'll keep you posted on the news as it happens!

how do i make the blue items that i downloaded go back to being usable? Please help me i still want to be able to use the items i downloaded.

Can somebody help me. My cars are not working. My sims can't even sit in the cars. It as if the car doesn't exist. When I click on the car the bubble goes away.

Actually you can make a car dealership on a community lot as well. I have a lot that's waiting to be submitted on this site and I was able to build it and use it on a community lot. You can even place the cars in an outside lot to be sold. What you need to do is create your lot how you want it design (community lot) I created mine to look like a parking lot. When your sim buys the lot and you're ready to start selling, first type in the moveobjects on cheat and this will allow you to place the cars outside anywhere if you want. Then you purchase your cars wholesale buy clicking the toggle button (lock button). When you go into love mode, the cars will be priced and ready to sell!
