Random News: Pets, Glamour, and More
Well, the rumor mill seems to be working overtime as more stuff about pets has been popping up recently across many sites, including Gamespy. A page that was posted at Gamespy but has since been taken down appears to have resurfaced on Comcast's Games Invasion page. On this page they have the Sims 2 Pets listed for not only PC, but PSP, Nintendo DS, GBA, GameCube, and PS2. You can see the listing here, but remember, this is ALL rumor at this point. Here's the text from the page in case it disappears like the Gamespy page:

It is interesting to note that the title of the page is The Sims 2 Pets [hold for july 27], so perhaps they published this page too early and we'll get more official news sometime around that date. But, time will tell, and when anything official comes out we will let you know.
In other news, a little bit about the Glamour Life Stuff Pack has shown up on an article on Gamespy entitled Retail Radar: Godfather: Mob Wars, Sims 2 Glamour Life Stuff. While it doesn't really confirm anything or suggest any release date, it does claim that the game has been listed on Gamestop's internal game database at a price of $20. You can read the whole article here.
But enough with the rumor mill, let's get down to stuff we know is true. The PC forum users are working on another neighborhood project a la Maple Valley. This new neighborhood will be called Beacon Falls, and if you're interested in helping or seeing what's going on with it, you can read the thread here. And if you don't have Open for Business, you can still help the Mac users make their neighborhood here.
That's all for now, stay tuned for more news as it becomes available!
