New Sims Products Announced and More!

It's been a while since the last news update, but there's a lot of new information, so let's get through it all quickly!

Regarding Pets:

Hilary Duff and her dog Lola are now available for download at the official site. Get Hilary here and Lola here. Two more big gaming sites have released Pets reviews, and you can read them at IGN and GameSpy. And lastly, there's a new tool available that can help you all update your custom content (specifically custom meshes) to be interacted with by Pets available at DJS Sims.

Regarding Happy Holiday Stuff

More information has been released about the holiday pack, and like last year, there will be another special edition of the base game with the holiday items included. There will also be a stuff pack containing all the objects from last year's holiday pack, as well as the other new things. In addition to THAT, there will also be a mini-pack that contains just the 20 new objects for those that already own the holiday pack from last year. You can read all about it and pre-order by visiting the official site.

Future Sims Products

In addition to "The Sims 2: In Season" expansion pack that we learned about with the arrival of Pets, we've learned about some other new products, and even about the Sims 3! So here's the scoop: A new product called The Sims: Life Stories will be coming out sometime next year. Game Stop has a release date of 1/22/07 on their site, and MaxoidMel confirmed that this IS a real Sims product that will be coming out over at the Official BBS. The other big news is in a GameSpot article that tells us that the Sims 3 could arrive as early as 2009! While we don't know many details yet, it'll certainly be fun to see more about it when we start getting more information.
