Hello everyone! Long time no see! The last few days, a lot of things have happened and we have a lot of ground to cover, so let's get started!

If you check your messages on your Sim Page at the Official Site, you'll find a notification from the Sims 2 team that reads as follows:

So we can look forward to that soon. In other news, Will Wright, the creator of our beloved Sims series, was interviewed on the Colbert Report about The Sims and his upcoming game Spore. You can view the video from the interview at Comedy Central's website.

A new version of the Sims is coming out for the Nintendo Wii, and while the site is in Japanese, you can see screenshots and video of the new game at boku-sim.jp The new game looks much different from what we're familiar with, but the controls on the Wii may bring a whole new dimension to this. But until we get more information, I guess we'll have to wait and see!

Finally, on the official site, they've added some screenshots of some bloopers they've experienced while making Pets. Let me just say, the dog pictured there has the biggest head I've ever seen... Click here to see them!

Now we get to the two bits of really big news... First off, a new line of Sims products has been announced! Called �The Sims: Life Stories� it's apparently a completely new game. What's different? Well, it's supposed to have storyline based playing and is supposed to have greater compatibility with laptops and older graphics cards. So it sounds like it has game play similar to some of the console versions of the games that we've gotten before, but for the computer. It also has an open ended type of game play like what we're used to, but don't get confused! This isn't for the Sims 2, it's a completely NEW game. What else this new game will hold, we have yet to see, but it looks like it may not be aimed to all players. However, as we find out more, it'll definitely become clearer. Now the biggest news item of all, a great deal of info has been released about the upcoming Seasons expansion pack! Be sure to read Steve Bonham's preview here on TSR if you haven't already, then head to the official site to read more and see the screenshots.
