Are you having trouble loading Seasons and loosing your custom downloads: I have the solution... My sister is no hacker but by luck stumbled on this. So, hopefully it works for everyone else too, as it worked for me. Back up your game - if it is really intense, then package your lots and then copy and move them to another location. Load Seasons into your computer - (you will need to download if you don't already have: Sims2pack Clean Installer 1.5.0.1 once youh have installed it - and after installing Seasons, then run all of your houses (not custom content), just your custom houses, through this program - once you are finished doing that, shut down your computer, when you reboot and open the game back up (wal-lah) sorry bad speller, all of your custom content is back. Don't ask me how but it works! You might have to replace a few things, like an old crib for your custom one, but who cares, at least your custom download is back! I hope this helps as I know so many people are frustrated! If you don't know where to get the clean sweep program I just googled it. Also, it's a good time to check for hacks in your houses while your uploading them, as you can remove the ones you don't want with this program. Oh, and one more thing for those of you who can't live without your magic mailbox. Download the: Old_Cemetry house, the Timosa's live it - that is the house with the Magic Mailbox Hack that is so wonderful. And for those who click on the: Make all friends for me and can't get their phone to stop ringing - just delete your phone for 3 days - if you need it you can put it back and delete when through - or simply don't use that feature on the magic mailbox. Good luck to all of you with Seaons, it's a WONDERFUL adittion once you get your custom content and cheats back. Oh, sorry again about my spelling...

The patch isn't the cause of the custom content disapearing - it's the new Seaon's - I've had 7 friends load the new Seasons and ALL their custom content went away - when they opened the game just blue furniture and pictures and things were located where the custom content was - I'm not loading the game until this is addressed as I've downloaded way to much stuff - it might also be the new Pets Patch as they were released same time - but 7 people bought and installed Seasons yesterday and all lost ALL of their custom content... Anyone else notice this - plus, another warning - all your cheats are GONE - no magic computers, no magic mailboxes - no CHEATS! I went to my sisters and her game was a mess - sad thing was she hadn't backed up first... So, spread the word or you'll loose your downloads - or at the very least, back up your game before you install and try it out to see first so you don't wreck your entire town... Good luck... Anyone who knows how to fix this please let me know as I can't load the game
