Incentives News!

 Hi all! As the holiday season approaches we are working on some new ideas and gathering some new data on the download habits of our members. Added to that we are feeling a little generous as the holiday spirit builds up!

As a result, between November 15th and December 24th, we will be paying out Double Incentives on all new Sims 3 Custom Content created by you, our FA’s.

There are a couple of reasons for this: We would like to bolster the premium content submissions to TSR during the peak holiday gameplay season. We would also like to gather some data on the use of free ‘premium’ content. So, we would like to encourage you to set some new, top quality creations that you might normally set to subscriber, straight to free. This will help us see how popular these sets might be with the entire community, learn how good the exposure of such creations are and help to spread joy and happiness to the Sims community as a whole!

The double incentives will help you to cover the ‘cost’ of creating these sets and making them free. We aren’t asking for all your efforts to be set free though, maybe one or two sets each and make the most of the double incentives with all your other creations.

We think this is a reasonable request and will help in the long-term planning and development of TSR. We would also encourage you to create seasonal content where possible, as it would be nice to see more holiday/world event related content hitting the databases more regularly. Current or trending content will always go down well with the players and keep the site looking fresh and topical.

So go forth and create, and reap the rewards of Double Incentives! Earn yourself some extra pocket money to spend after Christmas on some little treats for yourself.
