FreeTime patch is back up

Looks like EA have released a new FreeTime patch. This one appears to be fixing a lot more than the original and will hopefully mean a working game again for a lot of Sims 2 players.

I have noticed several problems and mishaps since installing FreeTime. The 2 worse ones are; 1; my hole computer crashes (while I'm playing (and only when it's Sims2) now and then and the screen turns blue with text on it. Acoording to this text I'm supposed to either restart the computer, get a new grapic card, or change something else...2; While playing the screen often freeze for several seconds, sometimmes even minutes, and I have two options, either wait for it to unfreeze (which it sometimes dosen't) or restart my computer.
Other problems are the matchmaking lady, when she's called all she does is turn up and leave the genie lamp, then she leaves. She even rings the doorbell on community lots. Sometimes simmies dies by no reasone at all. Specially when they returne from community lots or if I deside not to save their trip outside home. And most of my custom content doesn't work propily. Jewlerys and etc, turns in to floating blue spots above my simies heads. I have removed almost all furniture CC. Does anyone have the same problem? Or does anyone know what I should do to get this fixed? I'm thinking about reinstalling all EP and the original game. Plus remove some of the CC and stuffpackadges. To Helena: So basically our game crashing because we HAVE to backup things is OUR fault? Because EA/Maxis decides to put out a patch that crashes just about everyones game, that is OUR fault for not backing up? I recall several games on the computer (WoW, COH) and others that require NO Backups as expansions and patches are added and these problems never happen. EA/Maxis do not test out these patches ever, and if they did they would see how frustrating the time and wasted money can go into them if they do not work. Thanks again EA/Maxis for your ignorance.

Does the patch have to be installed at all? I've been hesitant about buying the game, but then I thought I didn't install the patches for the other expansions after I got them. I have since that time, but never noticed any difference in play.
