Behind the scenes of TSR.

I feel that our community and subscribers deserve to know what happens with TSR, even if it is in the background, so I would like to update you all on some recent happenings. Many of you have noticed that during the last week there have been no updates, and no new subscriptions accepted. This was due to the very sad demise of MGON, the company that has proudly hosted TSR for the past 3 years. A great deal of work has been done in the background these past few days to assure a continued service and future for the site, for all of our subscribers, and the community as a whole. I am pleased to announce that this hard work has paid off, and a new home for TSR has been found. Better still, the �original team� that was involved in the creation of the network version of TSR 3 years ago have adopted the site and are dedicated to developing it to new and exciting levels in the very near future. So, what does this mean for our users? Well, apart from a last week without updates, we anticipate that the changeover will be relatively seamless for our members and visitors alike. I�m still here, and I�m very happy to announce that Kath and Tug are still on board to help me maintain this ever growing and demanding community. Our recently intermittent code monkeys are still with us and are now dedicated full time to the development of the site. So what of the future? Well, in our opinion, the future for TSR is very rosy indeed. After fighting long and hard, TSR was retained by the original team that were dedicated to make it what it is today. Ours is a long term commitment to the entire Sims community, and we have plans which are already being developed to impress even the biggest sceptics among Sims players! Our current subscribers will all be receiving an additional week of access credit to compensate them for this rough week of no new downloads, and counselling will be made available for the most severely disrupted Sims addicts ;-) My thanks go to all of our subscribers and visitors for their continued support, and especially to our Featured Artists and submitters who continue to amaze us with their skills and generosity. Stick with us.. We�re digging in for a long and exciting ride! NOTE: The payment system for taking new subscriptions and extending existing ones will be back online within hours of this notice going up.
