However, she evaded death with a show of meekness and survived Henry to marry her long-time love, Thomas Seymour. Ironically, the Queen who had thought herself barren, died giving birth to a Seymour daughter, which left her fourth husband free to plot a marriage with Elizabeth Tudor.
