When Henry Tudor defeated Richard III at Bosworth Field, the line of Kings begun with William of Normandy was transformed from the House of Plantagent to the House of Tudor and ending the Wars of the Roses. While Henry's ascension brought peace to England, it is now widely believed by Scholars that Henry not Richard III was responsible for the murder of the Princes of the Tower.
