This house SHOULD work without Deluxe, as it uses no objects from that expansion. This starter house is completely ready to live in. It has a pool and minimal furniture, but the pool has no ladders and the furniture is very cheap and will need to be upgraded. (There aren't any lamps either; I make my Sims do without until they bring home a paycheck or two.) A gif screenshot (not shown) is included to show one example of how it can be funished to allow your Sims a comfortable life once they can afford better furniture. There are two bathrooms, but only one is furnished, and there is one large bedroom suitable for up to four Sims (three if they need single beds). The interior room score will improve as the funishings are replaced; both the bedroom and the rest of the house are quite roomy, and eventually only the bathrooms will have low room scores. (The bathrooms are small on purpose: less to mop up!) The pool and all the foliage give a nice high outside roon score right from the start. This house design works very well for me and I've started using it on almost every lot.
