The secret to the restaurants is really not all that hard. 1. Don't sell anything else just be a restaurant (including baked goods)2. Have a GREAT salesman to be host/hostess and smooze the customers. 3. Have a sim with maxed cooking skills for the chef. 4. Have at least 2 servers. This has been played in my game and people eat drink and pay the bill.
