I couldn't get it to look quite fluffy enough without making it look merely fat. I used the Golden Retriever coat as its base.

The breed was developed initally by a Mr. Edward Laverack, so for a period the dogs were known as the Laverack Setters. The English Setter has a mottled coloration, thereby distinguishing itself from other breeds of setters. It originated in Great Britain in the 1800s.
