This four bedroom mid-century modern home is based off of an Oregon home designed by the famous Robert Rummer. Rummer's floor plans boast a feeling of openness with their large living spaces, high vaulted ceilings and atriums that bring the outdoors in. This home has certainly been remodeled since it's building in 1967, but it still maintains the original mid-century modern feel and style while embracing modern conveniences.
This home is the perfect place for a young, growing family. The four bedrooms include a master suite with accompanying walk-through closet and separate bathroom, a guest bedroom, a third bedroom with two twin beds for older children, and the fourth bedroom makes for a playful nursery. In the backyard, Sims will find an upscale pool, small pond, and a large vegetable garden that boasts luxuries such as plum and pomelo trees, as well as four different types of French grape vines that are all ripe for harvest. In addition, the home also features two full bathrooms, a laundry room, covered patios, a large atrium with indoor pond, a garage suited for one car and two bicycles, and floor to ceiling windows in many rooms that look out onto the backyard and the atrium.
*Most of the downloads listed for this home are just small items for clutter, but in order to achieve a mid-century modern look, I had to download quite a few things from AweSims that are necessary for the home to appear as pictured. They are all free and most of them come as packages so they are easy to install. I will provide the links below, but please let me know if I am missing anything.
