Prologue
. . . On the Water came into being as the direct result of sharing with another builder [via Skype] our efforts to master the pool tool curves. I didn't manage to get anything worthwhile past the 4petal shape you see here, so began weilding the sledgehammer in the centre of my pool - intending to demolish it. My co-hort - said something along the lines of . . 'hang on, bet you couldn't build something useful on that space' . . . you know how it goes? . . . . so I thought, why not. I quickly threw up some box shapes,
stacked atop each other like a staircase - trying to get as much mileage from the small area as possible and when I put a roof on it . . it didn't look all that bad - even if it did remind us both of the old nursery rhyme about the Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe!! We decided it was circa after the children had all left home and the Shoe couple had the place to themselves. . . . . I named it On the Water, with tongue firmly in cheek. . . .
There are 4storeys visible - each of one functioning room. Ground floor=livingroom. One up = kitchen/dining. 2 up = bedroom. 3 up = ensuite for bedroom. .
There is an additional level below ground which contains a lounge with cinema-size TV screen and a cafe style meal area with microwave, minifridge and coffeemaker. This 'snackery' is located front and centre to a large window that has a direct view into the swimming pool on that side and, although there is a 1tile gap between house and pool due to the original mode of construction, one of my preview images will show this works quite well. A treadmill is set up where the exerciser can see the TV; they also have a view into a second pool. Finally, there is the general bathroom, with laundry facilities at one end.
The lot is 40x40, so there is a very large expanse available for outdoor activities. The pools of course - but there is also a barbeque with table seating, an outdoor dance floor with stereo and bar . . . loungers with views of the fountains . . . park benches scattered around under the flowering bouganvilleas and cherries . . . and a Gnubb game set up for instant play. All of these fresh-air entertainments can be enjoyed after dark, as the whole area is well lit. As an added bonus, the rear of the property opens straight on to a wide and safe, sandy beach - and to keep everything in a clean, green condition, your Sims have been provided with a large, outdoor Recycle bin.
On the Water was built in fun . . . but it could be much more with the right Sims in residence.

On the Water is a marcorse original work. It was build on the 40x40 lot at 455 Sunnyside Blvd, SV. You may not re-upload it anywhere, use it as a templete to build a lot for upload [you may do anything you like with it, in your own game LOL] or claim it as your own work . I have the following installed on my base-game: WA/A/LN. HELS/FL/OL. My game is patched to 7.3.2 . . including the 1.24 base-game patch.
