In 1957, Good Housekeeping sponsored a home of the future called the Idea Home. The concept of the house was to include everything a family may want in a home, from an open floorplan for the public areas to a private patio off the master suite. Fifty years later, another family purchased the home, and the magazine revisited the house in a recent article. Included with it was a basic floorplan, which I have recreated here (with very little changed) for your Sims to enjoy! By Rowena DeVandal.
