Zodiac Lookbook Part 2

Now that Halloween is over, it is time for Part 2 of the Zodiac Lookbook!  Wahooo!  Who is excited!  I did ALL the Zodiac Sims together, so I have kept part 2 and the Sims secret until now!  I am excited to see what everyone thinks of these, and of course, I am keeping that a secret as well!

I found THIS WEBSITE (Astrotalk), with colors matched to the zodiac signs, so I decided to use it as a guide and pick colors to go with the Zodiacs in this lookbook.  Each look has a similar color to the one listed on that website, or so I tried.  I definitely took some creative freedom, but that is the fun part!

Zodiacs

I tried to play on the base characteristics and traits of the zodiacs while designing these Sims.  So, for example, we have our Capricorn Sim above… Bret.  Bret can be seen in ‘Earth Gray,’ the color from the website I have used for this lookbook challenge.  Since Capricorn’s traits are generally classy, serious, hardworking, and ambitious, I styled him in a more stylish business casual look.  I tried to do this with all the Sims, and of course, not all Capricorns have these traits.  We are just going on the standard good old Google search results.

Leo

July 23 – August 22

Color: Regal Gold

Highlighted CC – Top, Skirt, Shoes, Bracelet, and Earrings

I absolutely love how the Leo Sim came out!  Gold is super fitting for the Leo Sim!  Since Google says Leos generally like to live in luxury, I went a little extra with accessories and glam.  When this Sim shows up, she will undoubtedly be noticed!  I have a couple Leo friends.  The similarities I see in my friends and what I found on Google are they like to be noticed for their efforts, all of my friends are super creative, and they will all tell you exactly what they are thinking.

Virgo

August 23 – September 22

Color: Earthy Brown

This Virgo Sim look has some heavy fall vibes!  I love the flannel and brown jeans.  Good old Google says Virgos are dependable, perfectionists, modest, and practical… so this is what I went with!  practical for Fall and not super in your face. “Look at me!”  It’s just a nice chill fall outfit.  I only have a couple of Virgo friends, and the description meets them all quite well, but one trait.  Which just goes to show you not everything is going to fit perfectly.

Libra

September 23 – October 22

Color: Charming Blue

I love this outfit for Libra… but not the Sim.  Usually, I can work the magic of CC and make any randomly generated Sim work… but not this time.  Anyways… For Libra traits, according to Google, romantic, diplomatic, idealistic, and charming.  This dress is everything romantic and charming, so I feel like it is a great pick!  Oddly enough, I do not have any Libra family members or friends…

Scorpio

October 23 – November 21

Color: Mysterious Black

Highlighted CC – Top, Accessory Top, Pants, boots, choker, nails, and Earrings

Slap a cardigan or shawl on this outfit, and I would rock it!  This Scorpio look screams confidence, which is one trait a Scorpio generally has.  Other traits listed in my Google search were; brave, secretive, and passionate.  I know a couple Scorpios, and my brother happens to be one; again, not everything fits 100%, but people are all different.  However, I think this outfit suits the zodiac nicely.

Sagittarius

November 22 – December 21

Color: Adventurous Purple

Three of my closest friends are all the Sagittarius Zodiac sign; when looking at Google, all of it fits pretty well: adventurous, funny, honest, and most definitely impatient.  (Sorry, not sorry, LOL) I will say it is always a good time with them as long as everyone is friendly and actively doing something.  I made sure to put this Sim in activewear as my friends are always doing something.  A lot of outdoor activities: wilderness camping, sky diving, motorcycle riding, cliff diving… you know, the usual activities.  But in this outfit, this Sim is ready for a fabulous adventure looking great!

Capricorn

December 22 – January 19

Color: Earthy Gray

Capricorn, we covered at the top a bit.  I focused on the traits I found on Google of classy, serious, hardworking, and ambitious for this look.  Totally wanted a solid business, classy but casual look for Capricorn.  I like the silky shirt and textured pants and think they pull together quite nicely and look stylish, meeting the Google traits quite nicely.

Summary

I really loved completing this lookbook challenge.  Creating twelve unique Sims is quite the task!  It was time-consuming, but not in an unfun way.  Randomly generating the Sims gave me a good mix of looks so I could have twelve unique-looking Sims.  Out of the twelve, the only one I wish I would have worked a bit more on is Libra.  All the other Sims came out pretty lucky with the random rolls.  Love the outfit for Libra; I just wish I would have worked on her facial features a bit more.  Libra just looks pretty random to me.

For my favorite of the six Zodiac Sims in this section of the Zodiac Lookbook, my favorite is, hands down, Leo.  I know most of you were thinking Scorpio… ahhh, but that is to be expected.  I am pulling some Sagittarius from my star chart and going for the unexpected.  However, my 2nd favorite is a toss-up between Sagittarius and Scorpio.  I like Capricorn a great deal, as well.  My son is a Capricorn and would 100% dress like that.
