So good to hear from you again! (I've missed our little "chats!") $\:wub\:$ Thanks for commenting on my story, The Face in the Mirror . The rest of the story will be up over the course of the next couple of days. The last chapter, chapter four, is the creepiest... $\:eek\:$ (Truth be told, it's almost exactly the nightmare that I had a couple months ago. $\:o$ $\:eek\:$ Really spooked me! My hubby suggested I turn it into a story, this is what he got! $\:D$ )

Oh god, Margo...wat een ellende! Ik had het met het updaten de vorige keer. Moest alles opnieuw installeren en dat heeft me meer dan een dag gekost! Maar als je je downloads hebt bewaard en je saved games en simmies moet dat gewoon weer zo terug te zetten zijn. Good luck!

Hi Margo! Het is weer zo ver. Wij hebben allemaal leuke dingen in ons spel zitten en EA houdt er maar geen rekening mee... Alle files in je downloads folder onder mijn documenten / Electronic Arts / Sims3 kun je wegdoen, of ergens als backup bewaren. Het schijnt dat als dat eenmaal is geinstalleerd de downloads gewoon in je spel zitten. Dat geldt ook voor .package files in de DCBackup map. Nou de Mods... Ik ben voorzichtig een aantal mods aan het terugzetten maar ben er ook nog niet helemaal uit. De map Mods (knippen en ergens anders parkeren of leegmaken) die heb ik laten zitten met alleen de basics zoals de 'nomosaic' mod zodat je geen 'blokjes' ziet als de sims in bad gaan enzo. Langzaamaan is het trial & error wat ik wel terug kan zetten en wat niet. Ik heb mijn spel NIET geupdate alleen dat wat WA automatisch deed bij het installatieproces. Het defragmenteren van de harde schijf helpt ook. Als je saved games en saved sims en je downloads ergens goed bewaart en je zou ooit je spel opnieuw moeten installeren heb je je verhalen en sims nog wel! (screenshots ook ergens anders heenzetten dan) Ik hoop dat je eruit komt. Anders net als ik...de forums op en kijken of je vraag er tussen zit. Jammer dat het nou nooit eens makkelijk kan... hola $\:\)$ haha no prob coz of the name confusing $\:\)$ I can imagine it´s a bit stressy to be a tourist guide but i am also sure that it´s a lot of fun too! It´s sure better than sitting in an office the whole day $\:\)$
