Hi Margo! I supposed it was a real house, but I didn't guess it have been your home as a child. I understand what you mean: some houses and neighbours seem great to the tourists, but actually live there with all the drawbacks it's another story! I'm positive that in Canary Island you don't risk damp patches and I hope that all the unplanned guest are relaives and friends imposing on you :P! Take care. F.
