Sam stared at the house he had once knew so well. The twenty or so years that had passed since the last time he had inhabited it had not treated it well. The once white walls were now a worn out gray, and the garden his mother ha taken so much pride in was reduced to weeds. He felt a pang of guilt for not taking care of his mother's house more. Once she had lost her head, they sent her to a senior facility, and left the house in disrepair.

His train of guilty thoughts was interupted by his sister, Anna,
"Poor mom. If she could see this now, she'd be so dissapointed..."

"There's no use feeling guilty now, let's just go in there, and do what we have to do." said Sam with confidence and positivity he didn't feel.

What they had to do is clear out the remaining furniture so they could sell the house. They didn't want to sell the house, but both brother and sister didn't have substantial finances, and both had children to raise. This house could make life for both of them easier.
Anna stepped through the door first. The second she came through the threshold, she was assaulted by childhood memories; her mother teaching her to walk in the hallway, kissing her high-school boyfriend on the couch, watching her father step out the door for the last time... As Sam walked in, Anna looked in the living room. The Danish furniture set that her mother had been so proud of was quite worse for ware, and the fabric was fading. The room seemed very empty without all the knick knacks her mother loved so much, but those were taken by Edith, the eldest sister, after her mother was put in the home.

Meanwhile, Sam stared at the door to his old bedroom, it was slightly open, so he decided to go in, and check it out. But something strange happened as he crossed the threshold-a blinding white light came from the door, and his body felt as if it were on fire. He tried to cry out, but he couldn't produce noise, and as if in an out of body experience continued walking through the door. As fast as it came, the horrible pain left. "What was that all about?" wondered Sam out loud. He stared about his old bedroom, and was very surprised to find it in such perfect condition. Unlike the rest of the house, there was no dust here, the wallpaper was clean and looked almost...new. All of a sudden, Sam noticed that the small blue transistor was playing. As far as he had remembered, that thing stopped working in the seventies after all the tubes burnt out! It was playing a Rolling Stones tune, when a radio broadcaster, who sounded suspiciously like Wolfman Jack, siad "And that was Satisfaction, this years number one hit! This years number one hit? But that song was over fifty-five years old. He walked around the room and noticed a record shelf above his head. All these songs were practically ancient, and he was sure he'd brought all of his record collection with him when he moved out. What was going on? As if everything wasn't confusing enough already, he heard somebody pushing the door open. It was his....mother!

"Hello dear, please turn down that music. You'll go deaf you know!" With that, she left the room, and from the hallway yelled "Dinner's going to be ready in an hour, be sure t wash your hands!"

His mother had died two weeks ago, and yet here she was, looking like a young woman. Obeying his possibly spectral mother, he went to the bathroom, to wash his hands, where he recieved quite a shock.
As he stared in the mirror, his fifteen year old self stared back.

I like it. \:\) Good start! The time warp thing got me thinking though.... Satisfaction came out in 1965, him being 15, and stating the song is more than 55 years old...makes him 69+ in the first screens... I say... he looks very young for his age! \:D \:D

Oh yes. He's been very well preserved by Avon wrinkle products. In fact, he's the poster child for the product.

Martoele- I'm trying to recreate everything, I had to replace my cpu and my game disc, as both were damaged in a stair falling incident.
