At long last, MurfeeL's epic saga, A Day in Wonderland, returns, with Part Three! Featuring: all-new characters, climactic episodes and chilling prose that will have you on the edge of your seats and clicking that mouse into submission for more! In parts One and Two of A Day in Wonderland, what started off as a quaint morning tea party at the home of the Madd Hatter quickly took a turn for the worse. The Hatter's android, Alice A-Teen65, vehemently refused to serve the guests. The Hatter, determined to upgrade his robot, failed to realize that his daughter Sophie Hatter had stolen the tarts of his lady friend, Iracebeth Hearts. Amidst all of this chaos, Iracebeth's sister, Mirana Diamonds, was attacked by a white rabbit plushie come to life! But The Hatter's bad day had only just begun.... In a sudden twist of fate, The Madd Hatter learned that his own stuffed animal, a cat, had been possessed by none other than the ghostly spectre in fuchsia, the Cheshire Cat! This restless shade had returned from the netherworld to inform The Hatter that for his own unspeakable crimes he was being called to justice, and with his android Alice he was ordered to appear at Mushroom Rock Road Park on Frabjous Day to be sentenced! Meanwhile, Alice was beside herself with grief after trying to make peace with her master, The Hatter, and failing. Seeking a quite, remote place to leak her battery acid, she made a blind dash into the hedge maze to cry in peace. But she was unaware that she had an audience, for none other than the White Rabbit, formerly busy digging a huge hole in the yard, was watching! With no time to be surprised or even scared, Alice heard voices behind her, and recognized them immediately, as the irascible Iracebeth was hot on the terrified Hatter's trail as he searched the grounds for Alice to tell her the harrowing news. Furious that she was not being paid any attention to whatsoever, Iracebeth demanded more tarts to replace the ones The Hatter's daughter Sophie had eaten. Ignoring them both, the White Rabbit beckoned for Alice to follow him into the hole. Wildly curious, she approached the yawning chasm, never hearing her master call her name. Alice was blanketed by darkness and engulfed in cold. She ran on water and swam in the airless void between time and space. But there was a faint glimmer of light -- a star, a flashlight, or maybe just the white tuft of the Rabbit's fuzzy tail. It didn't matter--it was all that she could perceive in the abnormal gloom, and so Alice followed it, too excited to turn back around. She emerged on the other side, but it was not light she encountered on the banks of sudden reality, but smoke. Lots of it. Almost blinded in the dark haze, she looked about her, barely making out the sounds of running water and the rustle of leaves on an evening breeze. Was she still at The Hatter's House? She didn't think so. It probably wasn't Kansas, either. Before Alice could turn the homing device on her GPS on, she was startled by a hollow, rolling voice that wafted to her through the cloudy smog: 'Whoooo.....arrrre....yooooouuuuuu....?' Meanwhile, The Madd Hatter had angrily followed Alice into the hole, never even noticing the White Rabbit, as all he could see was red....and all he could hear was the endless ranting of Iracebeth, who--of course--followed. They came out of the black tunnel and found themselves in a quiet, gated parking lot they had never been yo before. All was still as night fell, though the day had still been young when they entered the hole. 'Welcome to Mushroom Rock Road Park,' the voice of the loathed Cheshire Cat called to them from the entrance. Materializing slowly, as if he hadn't a care and all the time in the world, the Cat from Cheshire grinned at the couple who approached the gate with angry strides. What joke is this, ghost? The Hatter demanded? If you want to call you impending doom a joke, by all means, let us laugh and laugh merrily on this joyous, laughter-filled Frabjous Day! Ha ha haaa! Your trial will begin shortly before Alice's, so I do hope she laughs as well. Ah! And I see you have brought a witness to testify on your behalf! How delightful! The Hatter was near screaming. What trial, blast your striped hide! Who is the plaintiff, if I am to be the defendant!? Stand him here before me, or go back to the abysmal litter box from whence you came, PUSS! The hair on Cheshire Cat's sharply arched back rose, and he visibly shook. Who is the plaintiff!? WHO!? You Madd, bad and dangerous to know cartoon character! Why, it is your own BEST FRIEND whom you have sullied with your indifference! The other mad one at the original tea party--why, hes crazier than you, how could YOU forget to invite him to your get-together this morning!? WHO!? The very one this month is named after: The MARCH HARE!!!! Oh! What hath thou DONE, poor Hatter!? What horrible calamities are destined to befall you on this inauspicious Frabjous Day!? Will justice prevail? Will MurfeeL ever make an appointment with that psychiatrist her friends recommended!? Stay tuned and find out!
