Autumn. It was Maly's favorite season of the year, and yet quickly approaching. It was the season of new beginnings and finding love. Indeed the most beautiful season ever! She had convinced herself to do something different this year, something she had never done before. Which was planting a beautiful garden all by herself. She loved nature and being outdoors, and never realized how much of a green thumb she might actually have. It took about a month for her to get started and to even see her green babies mature a bit. Maly gracefully watered her sprouts until she heard a squeaky voice call out from the front of her house, "Maly Oung?". Maly recognized that voice any and everywhere, it was her baby sister Botum. She was quite surprised and ecstatic that Botum was here because she lived hours out of the city. They hardly saw one another, maybe once or twice every month. Maly lightly set down her water can and rushed towards the front of the house. The sight of Maly and Botum seeing each other caused them to let out high pitched shrieks and run to hug one another.
"I can't believe you're here gorgeous, this is such a huge surprise!" Maly said as she examined how mature her sister had gotten.
"We wanted to surprise you Maly. Me, David...and Jorani" She slowly peeked over at the two and whispered. "Jorani insisted she would come, and David is hot. I wanted you to meet him".
Jorani was also Maly's younger sister, she was the middle child, and a home wrecker indeed. She always insisted on coming anywhere if there were men involved. Unfortunately, Maly's attention wasn't focused on Jorani, her attention was set all on this guy, David. Botum wasn't lying when she said that he was hot, he was so hot that he could make the sun jealous. Botum sweetly introduced the two and they had got right to chatting. The two were intrigued, fascinated, eager, and definitely attracted to one another. They were enjoying each others company until Jorani rudely interrupted their moment and stole the conversation away from Maly. She stared in awe at Jorani for completely disrespecting her. She just turned away, and kept silent. Who was Maly kidding? Although her and David had just struck up a solid conversation in just a few seconds, she didn't have a lot of game when it came to men. She hadn't been with a man in years, and the changing of her appearance each year hadn't helped, or brought her closer to finding one. Botum looked at Maly in sadness. She just wanted her to be happy. She was restricted from sass mouthing anyone older than her, being the reason why she said nothing to Jorani. Botum approached Maly and apologized repeatedly for letting Jorani come and ruin things. She thought that Maly and David would be a match made in heaven. Maly cupped her baby sister's face in her hands and softly said, "I love you Botum, don't apologize for how she is, just keep being the sweetheart that you are. Okay?" Botum reassuringly nodded her head and suggested that they should just leave and drive back out of the city. She wouldn't stop until she got her sister what she had always wanted, and that was a man that loved her. She hugged Maly really tight and told her that she would give her a call when they were safely home.
"Come on you guys, we have to head back now. Maly has some important things to take care of."
David glanced over at Maly and cheerfully said, "It was great meeting you, Maly. Maybe we will see each other again soon, yea?"
Maly completely disregarded David's statement and kissed Botum goodbye. Jorani gave Maly a devious grin and hopped in the car. When they were clearly out of sight, Maly quickly forgot about what just happened when she spotted some awful leaves resting on her front lawn. She loved Autumn, but there was nothing she hated more than raking up crunchy old leaves. She liked things to be well organized, and clean. She angrily grabbed her rake and got right to cleaning up those leaves.
"If I could wave a magic wand and make you grow faster, I think I would take the opportunity to do so" Maly had said as she softly giggled to herself. She had been up bright and early every morning to see the progress of her garden for the past week, and she was growing a bit impatient seeing her garden look the same everyday. She knew it wouldn't happen overnight but she wanted progress and wanted it now. She would sit in her fenced garden for hours and hours at a time just to chat with her babies, hoping it would help them grow quicker. When the sun touched down and dissolved out of the sky, Maly decided to go inside and take a nice hot bubble bath. The quiet time alone in the tub encouraged her mind to ponder and wander off into deep thoughts. She wondered what it would be like to travel, travel to the mountains. Sitting by campfires, roasting marshmallows, eating flapjacks, shopping, exploring, and so much more! She was damn near a millionaire from inheriting some of her father's millions and had never treated herself to a vacation, ever. She could leave now, same day flights were very possible, especially with the wealth that Maly had. A month long vacation in the mountains was what she deserved, and what she very much needed. Since Maly would be gone for a month, she had to hire someone to look over her babies until she returned. She temporarily hired a personal gardener to watch over her garden for her. "Don't do all the dirty work, just look after them. If they need attention, please give them some." She cheerfully told the gardener over the phone. She packed all that she would need for a month, phoned Pleasantview Airport, arranged her flight, and arranged for a taxi to come scoop her up. Maly got a good look at her plants one last time until the taxi pulled up, with the horn beeping obnoxiously. She was on her way...to a long vacation that would be worthwhile...
