Any day you've got wonderful friends is a "beautiful day". $\:cool\:$ Yup I'm still having TONS OF FUN with my Sims. $\:cool\:$ I don't do them very often, but I'm making a CC home to upload. $\:D$ It's still been chilly but I've at least been able to get away with LESS meds. for pain.......which means less dopey. $\:rah\:$ Take care & hugs to you, Sissy, the Mrs., & Roxanne. $\:wub\:$

Everyone has to start at anytime... I'm still not perfect as alot of other people, I'm just a "middle" player, as my bf, too. Well here people who are in politics always promise more than they can deliver & they get paid waaaaay too much to make so many broken promises.......but I think we get more services & help than what happens in other countries. Private people often do a better job & faster than government.......too bad they don't have to worry about loosing their jobs because of poor job performance. $\:ph34r\:$ I know there are several groups here in the U.S. that take whole wheelchairs, wheelchairs that need work inorder to be useable, & parts for wheelchairs.....then they take the parts & all the wheelchairs they have & make as many working wheelchairs as they can from them, then those wheelchairs are all sent south to Mexico, Central American countries & South American countries. $\:D$ I couldn't give them a wheelchair but I gave them a foam cushion I had that was a nice $150 foam cushion but it doesn't work as well at preventing me from getting soars as the air one I've got now does....... but & an air cushion wouldn't be good to send because you have to be VERY carefull nothing punctures any of the air cells or it will go totally flat........and they're like $400 U.S. to replace. $\;\)$ To bad you guys couldn't just have both TS3 & TS2 on your computer.....then you can go back & forth. $\:D$ But I think EA made it so you can only have one or the other. $\:confused\:$ I have the discs from TS1 on a shelf........I've thought of hanging on to them mainly so if I ended up with a lame PC that wouldn't run TS2 I wouldn't be totally unable to play Sims. But I didn't get as attached to those Sims as I did my TS2 Sims.......I think the genetics has a lot to do with it; they've got families & heritage & I can often see the family resemblence like with real people we tend to look like our families & so do TS2 Sims. Yeah unfortunately the ghost catpain comes out after a couple tries but if a different Sim goes in then he just chalks it up to "having a look around" instead of "hey quite messing with MY stuff!". $\:wacko\:$ Tell Sissy I send a big hug & vertual tissue........that must have been heartbreaking. $\:$$ My roomie Karen said I could put her TS3 basegame in if I wanted to try out TS3.......& I was playing with the idea......til I found out it would have wiped out my TS2! $\:eek\:$ NEVERMIND! :P So speaking of TS2.......was that Sissy who made all those beautiful flower garden walls @ SimCredible.com or was that Mrs. Credible? $\;$$ Who ever did them they were LOVELY papers & I loved making little girl rooms with them. $\:\)$ Well take care & 3 hugs.....split them accordingly. $\:wub\:$

I'm glad you guys were not any of the people who were hurt or displaced. $\:wub\:$ I feel for the people who were hurt & did loose their homes. $\:confused\:$ Here in the U.S. people who live along the Mississippi River often have their homes ruined by flood waters. Here in the U.S. we have something called FEMA it stands for Federal (meaning governement) Emergency Managment Agency & they bring in trailors for people to live in so they have a home til theirs are rebuilt.......does Brazil have something like that to provide temporary homes? $\:confused\:$ Well on to the subject of Sims; darn I wish I had known you were trying to see the Sea Captain I could have told ya how to do it. $\:$$ There is only ONE LOT that has a pirate ship on the island vacation, you would've taken your Sim onto the ship, click the captain's door "plundar the captians quarters" then it may happen on the 1st try or the 4th try (you can keep sending your Sims to plundar over & over so long as they've got the energy for it). The captain will come scare your Sim out of his cabain then once he (the ghost captain) is hanging outside his door your Sims can talk with him & tell jokes untill an option to "learn sea chanty" comes up. It's a Simlish version of "yo ho yo ho a pirate's life for me". $\;$$ But Sims LOVE to sing that song & to teach their neighbors & friends........it can get annoying after a while. $\;\)$ I've gotten the EPs & SPs as gifts like early or belated birthday gifts, my kids have "gotten me games for Mother's Day" (it was really my Mom & friends helping them get them for me) . $\:D$ I can get to creating a lot or playing with the Sims & loose all track of time; so when I Sim I end up going for more hrs between medicating my owies cuz I was sooooo busy with my Sim I didn't notice I was hurting as much, if I'm just playing some sort of Pogo games I don't get "into the zone" as well so I notice that I'm hurting sooner. And since I can Sim on a laptop (it just won't run with CC) I can still create & have fun even if I can't get out of bed that day. $\:cool\:$ Well I guess if you ever get a notion to go down memory road & play with Sims 2 at least you'll know how to get your Sims to meet the ghost pirate. $\:confused\:$ And anything else Sims 2 if I don't already know where it is......I've got the PRIMA game guides to most of the EPs.
