\:\( \:o I feel for you....  It had me up pacing for a week.... here is something I got from EA forum, which solved everything sofar!I start my game from the ROOT in program files. I do not use the launcher, since I don't trust it. Program files/ Electronic Arts/ Sims3 Ambitions/ Game, Bin...and the .exe file for the game \:eek\: Hope you can get it up and running before you leave...it will give you peace of mind! Love, Freddie   I had it crash to desktop straight after loading (about 20 seconds of actual ingame before the crash) and having had a similar problem on Fallout 3 that a modder on a forum had fixed, I decided to give it a go with this. It worked for me, maybe it will for you: Download and install (I am not a bot or an evil virus-spreader, honest folks!): http://www.ntcore.com/files/ExplorerSuite.exe Go to "C:\Program files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 Ambitions\Game\Bin" And find a program called "TS3EP02" **Copy this file somewhere where you can find it again, we need to make a backup (for when EA releases an official patch)** Right click the original file > "open with CFF explorer" You now have a window open "CFF explorer - [TS3EEP02] On the left, under "NT Headers", there should be a tab called "File Header" Click it. Then click on the area, towards the right of the window, labelled "Click Here" A "Chacteristics" box will open. Check the option "App can handle >2gb Address space" Click ok **MAKE SURE YOU HAVE DONE THE BACKUP AS I SAID EARLIER** Close CFF explorer save changes to original file. Hopefully it will work for you too. When EA releases a patch that fixes this, or if this didn't work for you, simply find the original copy you made (because you did do that didn't you?) and overwrite the modified file with the original copy. This will allow the patch to install (because it won't on a modified .exe) and will revert the changes we made above

Gary! How are you? Hope your game is running as it should. Mie does now since last week and witout any lots installed. (I will have to try that again and re-install a new Riverview with PWI in it. For now I am really happy the game works again. I have to start working on more lots to upload and.... my story needs to be written. Gos...sometimes I think Sims is my work instead of that what I am doing now and why I am at the office today... My real job is a piece of cake... wish it would pay too..\:D HUGGGS my friend, Freddie

Hello \:\) And sorry for the late reply, I'm just no more as often at TSR, as I was all the years before. I have no problems. But I don't have downloaded ALL the PWI lots. And: I never had Riverview. I just have Sunset Valley and I'm lucky with it. Have a sunny and simlish weekend \:\) My pc is going to sleep now \:D

I did have a couple of minor glitches around the towers when I installed the chapel but they were easy to repair.  They have all worked except for Lady of the Lake.  I have tried to install it in both towns and it crashes my game.  Even so I am so happy with the rest of your creations so it is no biggie.  \:wub\:

Hi Gary\:\) As much as I adore your PWI lots I haven't installed them. Ever since my game crashed and I had to reinstall I haven't launched Riverview. I mainly play my (and my mother's) remake of Sunset Valley and your beautiful lots don't unfortunately fit there... Thanks for doing that! I absolutely love them all!! Posted a link to them on my sims Facebook page to let others know about them \:D I've uploaded some screens of how it looks so far \:\) http://www.thesimsresource.com/members/duckeggpie/screenshots/browse/ My solution in the end was to unpack it into package files and have it installed that way \:\) I haven't had any problems with any of the other pieces! It just seems to be that one :-/ I would love to get into Create A World once you have released the rest and make a special world to put them all on to. One with space for the set in the centre then for some additional (less grand) lots surrounding it \:\) I'm really looking forward to seeing what the rest looks like!!! You are one of the few artists on here who I download lots from!!
