Almost done!!!

I'm almost done with my exams! Phew! This school year has been ROUGH. I started a new degree program and I didn't expect it to be SO much work!

I take my last final exam this coming Thursday! I'll probably need a couple of days to decompress, but I really can't wait to get back to simming!

All work and no play...

...makes me want to jump out of a window!

I'm still overburdened with school work and zero time for anything else.

In 2 weeks time, I'll be done for the semester and will have loads more time to spend simming.

Until then, I'm not in a position to spend my time on anything not school or work related =/

School, school, school

Bah. I'm quite swamped these days with lots of mid-terms fun. I've had to put simming to the side as I navigate studying, classes and going to work.

I haven't yet started on my next project because of this, but hopefully I'll be able to soon =]

Phew! 3 down, 3 to go!

I've finally completed the kitchen set of the Manor House Collection.

This set was a tough one. There are lots of pieces and several of them with animations to complete.

Thankfully, I'm half-way done with the entire collection. I still have the Library, Parlor and Architectural sets remaining.

I don't know when the entire collection will be complete and ready for downloading, especially considering the Architectural set has approximately 100 million pieces in it. Hopefully, I'll be done before my final exams =]

Pedimentary, My Dear! Pt III has been uploaded!

The third part of the Pedimentary, My Dear! Collection has been uploaded and will be available for download on the 6th :)

Manor House + Pedimentary

Now that I've finished the Garden set, I have moved on to the Kitchen set of the Manor House collection.

The kitchen will take a lot longer to complete, because I'm doing a full set of appliances (stove, fridge, trash compactor, dishwasher), which all have several textures and meshed and animated parts to deal with.

On the plus side, I'll be uploading the final part of the Pedimentary, Collection very soon.

After the last set, I plan to do some more extensive recolors of the collection and possibly revisit an older set with some add-ons!

I'll have to see how things go =]

A little more on the Big Project

I'm continuing work on the Big Project.

At present, these are the sets in the Manor House Collection:

Architectural
Kitchen
Library
Garden
Washroom
Parlor

The number of sets is subject to change. But, I'm pretty firm on these sets, and all pieces have have been modeled.

As for in-game progress, I have completed the Washroom set and have moved on to the Garden set. The garden set is coming along nicely. I've converted the all the hanging ivy pieces for the game, as well as 8 topiary pieces.

And that was just today! But believe it or not, I still have 11 pieces left to complete on the Garden set =/

I'm really loving the ivy I created. I adore the look of ivy on buildings, and rather than create an ivy wallpaper, I've created 7 3D ivy plants with leaves that actually project from the wall.

I'll post pictures when the Garden set is closer to completion :)

All about the "Big Project"

I'm still working hard on my Big Project, and I'm finally ready to reveal what it is.

I never planned to reveal it so early in its development, but considering how long it's going to take me to finish, keeping it a surprise doesn't seems as important any longer =/

The name of my Big Project is.......

The Manor House Collection.

I decided to create it when I began working on the Manor House Washroom set. That set was going to be my next original set after uploading the Chez Moi Bedroom.

The Manor House Washroom was to be a bathroom set done in a style that would be common to a large manor house.

It got me thinking that maybe I ought to create sets for OTHER rooms in this imaginary manor house. And thus, the idea for the Manor House Collection was born.

There are about 7 (tentative) sets in the collection. I've completed the 3D modeling phase for all sets, but only one set has been converted for the game (the washroom).
There is one last piece to the washroom left to be completed and after that, I move on to the next set.

In the meantime, I will still be releasing part III of the Pedimentary collection, as well as doing some recolors of the three parts.

I will also be uploading some previews of the Manor House collection (mostly renders from my 3D software at this point), so watch out for that.

Problem Fixed!

The problem I was having uploading part 2 of the Pedimentary has been fixed! The set will be available for download on the 26th =]

Updates

After taking a week off to celebrate my birthday last week, I've returned to simmy exploits. School starts again next Monday, and I don't know how that will affect my simmy projects.

I have finished the 3rd part of the Pedimentary, My Dear Collection. The second part of the Pedimentary collection is going up today.

After that, I think I will return to working on my BIG project.

It remains to be seen whether school will heavily affect my productivity =/
